My sister and I love smelling all the wonderful Yankee Candle scents when shopping together. I was excited to see that Yankee Candle is finally offering a countdown calendar to its United States customers! I purchased two Yankee Candle Countdown Christmas Calendars ($29.99 each) for us to share the countdown to Christmas.
I kept the cardboard on to show how the corners and sides are protected. I ordered two Countdown to Christmas Calendars ($29.98 each), a wax melt warmer ($19.99), and a Christmas Cookies Reed Diffuser ($21.99) bringing my total to $101.96 with free shipping. I then apply a coupon code (now expired) that was good for $50.00 off of $100.00 bringing my final total with tax to $55.59 with free shipping. I lucked out on the deal which brought my final total lower than what it would have cost me to buy two Christmas Calendars with shipping and no code.
The base of the tree is a luminous metallic gold snowflake candle holder. It’s a beautiful festive candle holder that holds a tealight. It is not part of the countdown.
The light shines through the gorgeous tealight candle holder. The design can also be seen on the inside. It’s beautiful and there is no worrying about the recipient having a tealight holder if you are gifting the Countdown Calendar.
Who is ready to see the first tealight? I almost don’t want to open it yet.
I had a little trouble getting the tea light out because it is off-centered. The calendar may be reusable or refillable for some people, but it will not be for me.
The tealight burns up to eight hours which is the perfect amount of time for a Countdown Calendar. The scent is not listed on the bottom of the tealight. I think it is All is Bright which is described as
A blend of sparkling citrus scents drifting on warm musk
It is a warm, light scent that also smells clean.
Two tea lights of each fragrance are included. I found that the one I am using today carries throughout my dining room but not throughout the house.
I am enjoying the ambiance of sitting here on the computer with the light shining through the snowflake smelling the warm scent. I can’t wait until December when I can open the rest of the calendar!

My older son accidentally knocked over my old wax melter breaking it. I decided to replace it with the silver Argento Electric Wax Melt Warmer because it looks festive. The bowl is also highly reflective and is reflected back my Cardinals.
I placed the Sugar Cookie Reed Diffuser on top of a tall bookcase across from the front door. The scent carries throughout a couple of rooms whenever someone opens the front door. We can smell it throughout the family room which is making the boys hungry for sugar cookies.
My sister was delighted when she found out I ordered a calendar for her. We can not wait until December when we start lighting our tealights and discussing their scents. It is a great way for us to stay connected during the Christmas season. The inclusion of the beautiful snowflake tealight holder makes the Advent Calendar a wonderful gift.
