Pop In A Box is a monthly Funko POP! vinyl figure subscription.
They also released a limited edition Tsum Tsum Mystery Box in March for $34.99. Only 500 boxes were sold, and since I’m a certified Tsum Tsum addict, I bought one.
I am incredulous that this actually shipped! I can’t fathom why exactly it took 3 months. I received the following email about 3 weeks ago:
Thank you for your recent purchase of Tsum Tsum box.
We are sorry to inform you that this box was listed at the incorrect price on site. The box was supposed to be sold for $29.99 but was sold at $34.99. As a gesture of goodwill we will be refunding you an additional $10.00 meaning you only pay $19.99.
The $15 refund will be showing in your account in 3-5 working days.
Once again we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Customer Service Department through your online account.
Kind regards, Pop In A Box
Olaf Tsum Tsum ($13) This medium size Olaf TT from FROZEN will be a hit with my 6-year-old son for Christmas. No use handing it out now!
Olaf’s back! Olaf has no tail.
A closer look. I am a little surprised by the lack of detailing on this one – no stitching between the teeth! It is, however, authentic – sold at JCP.
We were trying to think of a fun party game for the big kids birthday next month and this fits the bill!
Disney Tsum Tsum 10-Colour Pen (£2, $2.50) This cute 10-color clicky pen is perfect for accenting your notes plus it’s covered with all my fave characters!
Disney Tsum Tsum Minnie Mouse Paint & Play (£5, about $6.25) I have mixed feelings on this item! On the one hand, I am happy it arrived safely!
My box had about $29 in value. I can’t say that I’m terribly disappointed for the purchase price of $19.99, I was actually pretty pleased with what we received, and they’ll make excellent Christmas and birthday gifts for my kids, but I can’t say that I would recommend purchasing a mystery box from Pop In A Box based on this experience!
