Loot Wear (formerly known as Level Up) is a monthly subscription from Loot Crate with exclusive geek and gamer premium wearable accessories themed along with the current Loot Crate theme. You can purchase Loot Wear separately from Loot Crate – and the wearable items (the shirts/hats/etc) are available in ladies’ sizes, but not the socks. The complete spoilers for September are shown in this review! There are now five options:
- Socks: 2 pairs of themed socks for $9.99
- Loot for Her: apparel or 1 or 2 fashion accessories for lady looters (hairbow, cosmetics, jewelry, feminine cut shirts) for $14.99
- Wearables: 1 wearable item like a premium shirt or hat for $14.99
- Loot Tees: 1 t-shirt for $8.99
- NEW! Loot Undies: 1 Super comfy and breathable 80% Micro Modal boxer brief for $14.99!
You can also bundle the wearable and the socks for $20.99 or the accessories for her and the shirt for $19.99. See our Loot Wear reviews for photos of the other subscriptions!
The theme for the October 2016 Loot Wear was HORROR! Note that although Loot Crate communicated to subscribers that these would be late – these were very late, arriving on November 7.
The back of the card gives you a list of all the items.
The Loot Tees this month was Shaun of the Dead. I don’t personally have a ton of interest wearing this shirt after Halloween, but Shaun of the Dead fans would disagree!
I’m pretty sure they sent me a men’s size. Whoops. In the past, I haven’t had issues getting a replacement, except with the Goonies shirt. My packing slip clearly says women’s, but I think this is the third time I’ve received a men’s shirt.
I’m not sure what brand the shirt is – there was a tear-off tag. It’s not a soft shirt and not the nicest quality. It was, however, cheap!
I was disappointed with the delivery and sizing issues in this month of Loot Tees. IMO, Horror should have been the September theme, to give us all plenty of time to wear these shirts before the big day. Shipping them to arrive a week after a Halloween is a letdown.
