The back of the card doesn’t have details on the items – there are many bag variations every month – but it tells you how to log in to your account to check out how-to videos and tips for your products.

The bag this month is so cute! This is the second month with a shaped zipper pull – I hope they keep it up!

The design is navy and metallic and constellation inspired!

The inside of mine is gold – some subscribers received bags with silver accents.

Everything in my pouch!

Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional Face Primer ($4.80) This product is pretty much a staple for those that need to camouflage their pores. It’s a tinted primer that you press in to provide a base for your foundation. This is not an issue for me at all, so I’ll leave my feedback and pass it on to a friend. I love that they do include Benefit Cosmetics in the bags now!

Verb Ghost Oil ($3.36) I am really excited about seeing brands like this in my Glam Bag! This hair oil goes a really long way in adding shine and reducing frizz. It uses a blend of natural oils like moringa and silicone to do the job. I’m a little confused/unsure about some of the reviews I’ve seen about this product though – I saw one that mentioned needing a clarifying or sulfate based shampoo to remove the silicone from your hair. I’ve never heard that before. I would love to hear your thoughts! I pretty much  just go with the flow!

Skone Cosmetics Brow Wand Eyebrow Pencil in Chocolate ($18) This full-sized brow pencil features a firm, wedge-shaped pencil in a mostly universal color, plus a brush on one end for taming.

I was able to vary the color with varied pressure and I liked the results – swatch below.

ipsy-november-2016-8

the Balm Cosmetics Mad Lash Mascara ($5.60) The first thing I noticed about this sample – it has an impossible to describe closure that doesn’t screw on. I didn’t like that because I couldn’t engage in my typical wand scraping.

As a result the mascara was too thick and I didn’t like the results. Does anyone know if the full size is like that?

LAQA & Co. B’lighter in Peacher’s Daughter ($5?) Haha what a cute name! It’s a blush, it’s a highlighter, it’s a B’lighter! Unfortunately I don’t know the weight of the full-size product so I can’t give you an actual value!

ipsy-november-2016-7

I am a real fan of cream blush and that’s what this sparkly highlighter reminds me of. It’s peachy and pinky and blends out nicely.

I estimated the value of my bag this month at about $37. It wasn’t my favorite but I liked the brow pencil and loved the b’lighter! This subscription is impossible to pass up at just $10, and they have just improved the brands enormously over the past year! What did you get in your bag this month?

The mascara was my favorite product from my November bag!I do have to admit that I like thick lashes though. I know the tube on the full size one is like a normal mascara tube where the cap twists on. The press on cap seems to be a Ipsy sample thing, I’ve gotten more than one mascara sample from them in the same style tube.

The first time I used the mascara it clumped for me too, but then the next time I tried it (I didn’t want to give up on it, I guess) it was wonderful! All the excess product was gone, so I was able to apply it without clumping. This is great mascara! It curled my lashes, stayed fresh all day, but my lashes themselves stayed soft. I am considering purchasing the full-size mascara using the 20% off code.
The brow pencil is great! I love the brush end, and the triangle-shape of the pencil itself. Very unique. Great product, too!

Thanks for your reviews! I just signed up and now I’m anxiously waiting on Decembers bag…lol I really hope they really stick with matching the right products with your profile. That’s my biggest worry is getting things that don’t go with my fair skin tone. 🙂

Silicones can make the hair smooth and gorgeous, but it builds up and harsh to remove if your hair is less than healthy. If you have healthy, shorter hair that is cut off regularly, it could be dreamy, but probably not good for the hair. It is terrible for my baby fine, dry, curly hair that’s easily damaged. I use pure oils (like argan) that work great giving my hair shine, style & control. My ends love a rinse of apple cider vinegar diluted in water too!

I am so glad you told me about the mascara! I received the same one but was saving it for my upcoming trip, but like you I like to scrape off the excess to have more control so now I will try it before I travel! Thank you thank you!

It has the lip area, but it’s way down, and I wasn’t able to use it the way that I normally do. I know when you try it you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. It was so weird!
