We cut costs in some areas in order to invest in other things you love about Birchbox, but we still understand that there was an impact on your experience with us.

Here are my items in my November 2016 Birchbox. It looks promising this month.

Chella Eyebrow Pencil
Chella Eyebrow Pencil

The Made in Germany Chella Eyebrow Pencil in Tantalizing Taupe ($20.00) is easy to use. It glides smoothly over my skin. It is a thin pencil which allows precise application.

Swatch

The color is a soft brown and lasted on my arm the entire day. I am not in need of it and plan to use it to draw temporary tattoos on my younger son’s hand.

SuperGoop Forever Young Hand Cream with SPF 40

I always forget to put sunscreen on my hands. The Supergoop Forever Young Hand Cream with SPF 40 (.14 oz, $0.53) fits that need. It has a light scent that fades out with time. I will probably buy a full-size when I am finished with my sample.

Number 4 Jour d'Automne Smoothing Balm
Number 4 Jour d’Automne Smoothing Balm

The Made in the USA Number 4 Jour s’Automne Smoothing Balm (1 oz, $5.88) had a pleasant scent and gave my hair a polished look. It’s a great size to keep in my purse for a quick touch-up. It gave me great results when I used it on dry hair. It is also in the curated box this month which is still available for purchase.

TokyoMilk Light
TokyoMilk Light

Hello, TokyoMilk Light Awaken Within! Ssh, don’t tell Birchbox that I like a perfume sample! I love the Made in the USA scent which is not surprising because it has jasmine, orange blossom, and neroli in it.

Avene Soothing Moisture Mask

Sadly, my face dislikes mineral oil. I will be passing the Made in France Avène Soothing Moisture Mask (.16 oz, $2.45) to my sister. It helps with redness and irritation while hydrating the skin.

The November Birchbox is an improvement over my October Birchbox. I discovered three new products that I liked. The value of my box is around $30.00 with two-thirds of the value coming from the eyebrow pencil.

It is a discovery box that offers an opportunity to sample different beauty products. The excitement of selecting a sample or a curated box is something that subscribers do enjoy. Birchbox is an inexpensive way to try out different beauty brands each month.
