Candy Club is a premium candy subscription box that sends 3+ pounds of nicely boxed candy to your door. You get 3 canisters of candy, a bonus treats find, and a liberal splash of something extra! A monthly box runs $34.99, but the price decreases quite a bit with a longer subscription.
Candy Club has a fun quiz to help personalize your box. Take the quiz when you sign up or go straight for just selecting your box. This is the Club Favorites box, a mix of classic sweets and fun sours.
This month’s candies were E.Frutti Peachy Penguin Gummies, Vidal Sour Jelly Clothes Pegs, Pearson’s Bit- O-Honey, and Vidal Jelly Filled Twist Cones.
The back of the information card contains the nutritional details for each candy. This month’s information cards are different. There are separate cards for each candy.
The nutritional information is on the back of each card. You can select each candy in your box now so that’s the reason for the card change.
First on my list is the Vidal Sour Jelly Clothes Pegs. These are chewy, sour, and fruity candy that are shaped like old-fashioned clothes pegs. These are very good. This candy is imported from Spain. My boys ate this up quickly.
Don’t these look delicious?
My next candy to try was also from Vidal. The Vidal Jelly Filled Twist Cones. This candy is strawberry flavored and cone shaped. This is a sweet candy that is soft and gummy. The design reminds me of Christmas mints. What do you think?
Okay, so far so good.
My next candy is Pearson’s Bit-O-Honey. This candy has been around since 1924. They are chewy with a honey and almond flavor. I remember getting this candy from the corner store as a kid. Awww, the memories. Now my boys are able to enjoy them.
Last up is the E.Frutti Peachy Penguin Gummies. These are black and white penguin gummies with a surprise flavor…PEACH!
I loved the shape the candy came in but I was not a fan of the flavor. I don’t know if it was because I was expecting a black licorice flavor or what. My boys actually did not favor this one either.
My boys and I really enjoyed reviewing the candies this month and we look forward to this box every month. What candies did you get? Sweet, sour, or classic? Let me know what your favorite candy is.
We highly recommend Candy Club. It is well worth the monthly fee if you’re in the market for this type of candy (you can pretty much buy all the candies in bulk online, but it’s not nearly as fun, and the value is probably on par with higher end candy stores – Dylan’s Candy Bar sells “Paint Cans” of candy for $16 each!) and your sweet/sour tooth will thank you for it.
