Walmart Beauty Box is a quarterly sample box – just $5 for the shipping and handling.  If you want a sampling experience for items you can buy at Walmart, this is your box.  Walmart now lets you select either the “classic” profile or the “trendsetter” profile.  I got the Trendsetter box. You can now select which style – it’s no longer necessarily based on your age.

The Fall 2016 Walmart Beauty Box!

20160921_212233

Batiste Clean & Classic Original Dry Shampoo ($1.41):  I was so excited to see this in my box!  I’ve tried several brands of dry shampoo but haven’t gotten around to Batiste yet.  I get to escape the Florida humidity next week and head to Vegas, baby.  Drier weather = hair straightening.  This will help keep oil at bay while I’m rockin’ a straight ‘do.  Several reviews on this product tout its virtues on fine hair, which I have.  And the clean scent is nice too.

Clean & Clear Deep Action 60 Second Shower Mask ($1.00):   This is an in-shower mask that works with the steam of your shower to deeply, but gently exfoliate.  Some of the active ingredients are glycolic acid, kaolin clay, and baking soda.  This does tingle a bit while you’re wearing it.  As you massage the mask off, exfoliating beads go to work.  This reminded me a little of Noxema.

Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strip ($0.94):  Biore on steroids is the best way to describe these.  The natural charcoal in the strip penetrates to attract impurities and excess oil from deep down.  I’ve received similar strips in several Asian beauty subscriptions, and they are fantastic.  Can’t wait to use this one!

ecoTOOLS Makeup Brush Cleansing Cloths ($0.30):  An easy way to clean your makeup brushes every day.  If you’re like me, cleaning your brushes isn’t a favorite chore and probably doesn’t happen as often as it should.  These cleansing wipes contain soothing plant-based ingredients such as cucumber and aloe.  Made from FSC certified material, these cloths are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and petroleum-based products.  Your skin and brushes will thank you.

hello Naturally Friendly Pure Mint Extra Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste ($0.86):  This is a brand of naturally friendly oral care.  The extra whitening formula whitens without using peroxide.  The toothpaste is also free of dyes, artificial sweeteners, or preservatives.  Ingredients like xylitol, stevia, silica and calcium carbonate gently whiten teeth, prevent cavities, strengthen enamel and freshen breath. Plus, it is vegan and never tested on animals.  The toothpaste does have a little foaming action and tastes a bit like Freshmint Tic-Tacs.

Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies ($0.25):  These gummies have a blend of nutrients, such as Vitamin C and Biotin, to promote healthier hair, skin and nails.  The yummy strawberry flavor will make you forget that you’re eating something healthy.

Village Naturals Therapy Aches & Pains Muscle Relief Concentrated Mineral Bath Soak ($0.50):  This mineral bath soak contains a blend of essential oils and extracts to soothe and comfort achy muscles, while sea salt and epsom salt draw out impurities.  Essential oils in the blend include eucalyptus (revitalize & restore), spearmint (refresh & renew), and menthol (soothe & comfort).  I think this will go with me on my next trip – nothing helps ease jet lag like a good soak.

Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Wash ($0.45):  Dove Purely Pampering is a range of skin cleansing products designed to nourish your skin and pamper your senses every single day.  I like Dove body washes, and this one has a nice soft scent.  It’s got good lather (if you like that) and is very moisturizing.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream – Body ($0.89):  Cetaphil has been a trusted name in skincare for a long time.  This cream is designed for dry, sensitive skin.  It won’t clog pores and is dermatologist tested and approved.  I don’t have dry or sensitive skin, so this will be passed onto a friend.

I estimated the Fall Trendsetter box to be a $7 value.  While I would have preferred that the estimated value versus cost had a larger difference, I am happy with the items in this box.  I hope that the Batiste dry shampoo is as good as its reviews, and the bath soak is calling my name…

I just got my shipping confirmation email, and I’m hoping I get the same items you did! I feel like I’d use all the things you received, so I agree that while $7 value is a tad small, at least I’d use the products. I really hope I at least get the batise dry shampoo – I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time!

    Thanks for reviewing!
