Studio Calico Stationery Kit September 2016 Subscription Box Review

Studio Calico has four monthly subscription kit options, though they all revolve around the same monthly theme. The scrapbooking kit is scrapbooking, stationery for stationery, planner for planners, and the documenter one is for journallers. This review is for the stationery kit! Everything arrives packed in a sturdy clear case which is great for storing both your kit and any other supplies!

The kit always comes in a roomy pencil case that is see-through to the contents inside. I use these to organise cards, stickers, and other supplies so I can easily find them! This month’s bag came in a much larger bag than normal!

September’s theme is Lost River.

What I like about September’s lot of cards is that all but one of the cards are traditional folded cards; Studio Calico likes to do the one sided cards, which I don’t like as much. The only one sided card this month is the bear cutout, which is adorable as heck so I can forgive. We were also sent quite a few encouragement/sympathy cards this month as well!

The horse card top right is my favourite — it’s blank inside so it’s good for any occasion. The new baby card is going to come in handy as my sister is due in December. And the thank you and happy birthday cards are always handy to have around.

This wedding card is the smallest of the bunch, and I love the art on the front. We were also sent a birthday candle acrylic charm as well as a pouch of confetti!

Studio Calico always sends along other paper products, and this month we received two sheets of emoji stickers as well as a big long checklist notepad!

This month’s Studio Calico kit was a solid selection of useful cards and items. I still can’t get over how adorable that bear card is!
