Monthly Magic, now Magical Monthly, is a monthly unofficial Disney-themed subscription box. They offer snacks, and fun souvenirs from Disney Theme Parks for $59.98 per month! Each box comes with 2-8 items from Disneylands from around the world, so you can still enjoy the magic of Disney even you’re far away from the park! Monthly Magic also offers a monthly pin, snack, and mug subscription.
The items in this month’s box came from mostly Disneyland!
I was SUPER curious to see what this item was!
Everything in my August Monthly Magic box. It looked like a good mix of items – although relatively small volume compared to the size of the box.
Disney Haunted Mansion Tankard Mug ($13.99 list) Love the Haunted Mansion, and love this mug! It’s a really nice size for actually drinking out of, or storing all your doodads in!
The print goes all the way around and shows off the gravestones about the Mansion.
Disney Magical Mystery Pins Series 10 ($5.99) Each mystery pouch has one pin. This pin set has six pins in total, designed like postage stamps. The characters featured are:
- Jiminy Cricket
- Bambi
- Captain Hook
- Cheshire Cat
- Dopey
- Lady and The Tramp

The back shows the series and of course has the official Mickey pinback!
Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration Tin Bucket ($9.49) It’s a bucket full of fruit sours! The design is super sweet – I love the retro look (which is now pretty much totally back in style!).
A nice bag of fruit sours was included. Yellow is my fave candy flavor (yep, just yellow, no matter the flavor!) so I was happy to see a great distribution.
Amazingly I’ve been able to keep little paws out of this! We’ll reuse it for sure.
Disney Dollars 2005 Edition: This is good only for $1 in the park, but as an uncirculated mint edition 2005 Dumbo, I believe it’s worth about $5!
It’s SO cute, and perfect for adding to a Disney shadow box!
This Disney Dollar commemorated the 50th anniversary!
Plus it has rad security implants in it too!
Disneyland Reversible Tinkerbell + DisneyLand Lanyard ($11.95) Disney lanyards are top notch, and a definite must if you’re doing any pin collecting. I do believe I have a photo of 7 year old me in this very spot at Disneyland! I really need to digitize my old photo albums.
As always, a fun box for Disney freaks! The value this month was about $46, which isn’t bad at all to get impossible to find items straight from Disney Parks (the value on these subscriptions is never quite the box price, because the box owners can only get the items at retail). It’s a great burst of fun for when you can’t make it to Disney yourself!

Disney dollars have been discontinued too so my guess is value will go up. At least it seems like it should. I have some uncirculated ones that I should check out too.
