Kloverbox September 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

The information card contains a list of all the items in the box. The September theme was “Yoga”. My older daughter recently started practicing yoga and even takes a yoga class as one of her college courses. I can’t wait to share this box with her!

I’ve never seen this before but the Buddha Fresh Air Freshener ($21.99) is an environmentally safe way to reduce or eliminate odors without using unpronounceable chemicals. The burlap bag is filled with bamboo charcoal and can be used for up to two years: simply let it recharge in the sun for an hour every month to remove moisture and that’s it!

Cuccio Somatology Balancing Lotion ($4.95) is a light, fast absorbing lotion that surprisingly held its scent for longer than most natural lotions I have tried. A closer look at the ingredients list shows that this product contains “parfum” so that may be why. It has a bit of a rose scent with a touch of citrus.

The Wonder Seed Facial Scrub – Water Lotus ($14.95) lightly exfoliated my face with jojoba beads while working up a sudsy yet soothing lather. Hemp seed oil helps to reduce inflammation and since my skin is perpetually red I hope it can make some of that rosiness disappear.

I have never tried yoga before but I plan on giving it a spin with this Power Flow Yoga DVD from Cuccio Somatology ($19.95) and hope that my daughter can give me some tips. I will choose the beginner option but it’s nice to know that I can select advanced if I manage to make some progress.

I always hit an afternoon slump at work so I am going to tuck my Balanced Guru Empowering Energy Mist ($10) in my lunch bag and pray it helps get me through the day. This is made with organic bergamot, sandalwood, vetiver, ginger, lavender, and benzoin essential oils and has a woody, herby scent that is supposed to help inject some pep in your step.

I enjoyed my first Kloverbox! I was happy with the yoga theme and thought the products fit the theme well plus I can’t wait to share these items with my daughter. This month’s box had a value of $71.84 and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next month!
