The theme for this box is SIZZLE.  I’ve been a Bespoke subscriber for a long time, and I have a nice selection of accessories and lifestyle items.  The last few months, however, Bespoke has offered several really awesome cooking items, so my focus has shifted to the kitchen lately.  SIZZLE has several great essentials to make your favorite Chinese and other Asian cuisine!

The front side introduced the items included in this curation.  The featured item is a carbon steel stir-fry pan, complete with a bamboo steamer!

The reverse side of the card always has the beginning of a useful article on some point of mastery related to the curation.  This edition provided instructions for “seasoning” your new pan, turning it into a non-stick piece of cookware.  The remainder of the article is available online at Bespoke.

China Village Bamboo Steamer ($17.99):  This steamer is made of real bamboo and can hold two layers of food.  Best of all, it fits right in the stir-fry pan!

The two levels each have a slatted floor to support your veggies, dumplings, or whatever.  The woven lid holds the steam in to surround your food and speed cooking.

There’s also an information card provided by the manufacturer.

Joyce Chen Pro Chef Series Stir Fry Pan ($34.15):  This pan has a large cooking surface, and the carbon steel is capable of handling very high heat.

This pan is not a true wok.  It has the high, sloped sides of a wok, but the bottom has a large, flat surface, making it suitable for use on a traditional stovetop burner.  It even works on an induction cooktop!  The handle is very sturdy and contoured for a better grip.  

Joyce Chen Bamboo Cooking Chopsticks:  These extra long chopsticks allow stirring and turning of food without getting your hands near the heat.  Here they are shown with a pair of ordinary chopsticks (oriented vertically and not part of the box) to show the difference in length.

La Tourangelle Stir Fry Oil ($5.46):  This safflower oil has a high smoking point, so it can cook at really high temperature before it begins to break down.  It is infused with onion, garlic, and ginger, adding a burst of flavor to enhance any Asian dish.

Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chili Crisp ($8.90):  This spicy sauce cranks up the heat on any dish.  A spoonful is enough to season a whole recipe!

Bespoke Post remains one of my favorite guy-friendly subscriptions — there are so many different themes to choose from, and I always get really excited about using everything right off the bat.  The quality of the items, whether it be a hobby kit, apparel, or food related, always make me feel like I am investing in my quality of life rather than justing getting something to set it aside.
