Snack Fever is a monthly subscription box that delivers all your favorite Korean snacks, as well as other hard-to-find Korean treats. Each month, subscribers will get 5 to 12 Korean snacks and treats, depending on their subscription. Snack Fever is available in three boxes, the mini box, the original box, and the deluxe box, and subscriptions are $12, $20, and $40, respectively, every month.
I love the custom paper and box!
Every month it amazes me how much is in this box.
Snack Fever boxes are now themed – this one is the “Viki Binge Box” (binge as in binge watching, not binge eating).
Viki TV is I think primarily Korean & other tv, all subtitled and available online, but they have Bollywood shows, anime, etc. They license the shows and the subtitles are user-generated. This is really neat!
There were also coupon cards (to try it out), sticker, and a pair of chopsticks included this month. I’m going to have to test it out when I nom some noodles.
Immerse yourself with the Korean culture through these cards. Snack Fever gave a list of K-Movies to watch. There’s also a Korean word to learn and you can practice writing it on the card.
You’ll also get to see the contents of the other Snack Fever boxes. The pages show what’s inside the Mini and Original Boxes (the back side shows the Premium box – but Summer’s review will cover that one!).
Everything in my August Binge Box!
Soy Chips: High fiber! Soybeans! Crunch!
Misugaru Drink Mix: A traditional grain beverage – you mix with water or milk – lots of people drink this like Americans would drink a smoothie or breakfast shake.
Sara gave this one a try: “As there were no instructions in English, I took what I knew of drink mixes and guessed. I used hot water- around 8 oz worth, and combined the packet. The powder itself had a grainy, lightly nutty taste. The mix turned a milky tan- almost like a coffee drowned in creamer and the fast was very pleasing! It was at once a wholesome but light flavor with a nutty finish. Very nice!”
Real Candy – Strawberry: Ahhh I want a whole bag of these creamy strawberry candies. So delicious.
Pororo Dried Seaweed: roasted with sesame oil, salt, and sugar!
Panda Chocokit: This is a DIY chocolate sandwich kit that I saved for the kids.
The cookies have panda cutouts and you sandwich chocolate in between, which creates a panda face!
Honey Tong Tong (Honey Butter & Corn Flavor): Are Koreans as crazy about corn as Singaporeans? This snack would suggest yes. It tastes like… creamy corn and potato soup, sweetened with honey.
The corn flavor was a bit canned, but our baby was wild about these!
Pocari Sweat: The gatorade of Japan (that Koreans also love).
Despite the gross name, it’s tasty – although I’m not sure of the flavor – maybe grapefruit? It’s very mild.
Ppushu Ppushu (Dry Ramyun Snack) Bulgogi Flavor: It’s bulgogi ramen, without having to cook a thing!
Smash it, sprinkle it, shake it, and eat it!
It had a mild flavor (sweet even!). I’d probably just rather eat ramen, and should have saved this for a desk lunch. 410 calories!
Bibim Myun: Spicy soupless noodles, now with 8% more apple juice!
Sweet Rice Cake Cookie: This one was a little disappointing, because I thought by the package it would be spongey and cream filled.
It’s a bit dry & crumbly rice biscuit with a chewy rice center. It was ok for me. Sara liked it!

Pocari Sweat is my go-to for a hangover. I buy the powdered version which makes like a litre and just chug it until I die. It works great.
