T, age 17, can’t wait to see what is in the box! He loves the color scheme. He is excited because social media shows the box as having a younger, hipper vibe.
The information card contains the items, a description and style tips. T loves having that additional information. He is all about amping up his style.
Here are the items in the July box! It reminds me of the ocean. However, their Instagram shows a fifth item, a watch. It looks like we did not unlock the fifth item for some unknown reason. Or it may be variations in a four item box.
PA Anna: The socks are inspired by the Great Wave of Kanagawa, a well-known Japanese print. The socks feel like a dress sock.
T: They were very comfortable and soft. Vey stylish and artistic. I’ll definitely be wearing these in the future.
PA Anna: I love the colors on the stylish braided belt. T has shirts that will look amazing with this belt. The belt fit him perfectly which made him happy because he loves braided belts.
T: It’s a very nice color scheme, I love it. It fit my waist perfectly. Braided belts are a hot thing right now.
PA Anna: The style tip stated to use the shoelaces with white, brown, or tan shoes.
T: I am going put the shoelaces to the side until I have the right type of shoes. I want them to look sharp with my outfits.
PA Anna: The Juli Italy Design Sunglasses ($12.90) were too small for T’s face. The plastic frame has non-polarized lenses that are rated UV400. It has a wood style look that is on trend.
T: It was a nice idea. It looked good but did not fit.
PA Anna’s Final Thoughts: JDM Accessories is off to a great start! T loved the coordinated look. I do find it strange that the Instagram post showed five items. Maybe everyone received four items. T and I both loved that the socks were artistic. My son was interested in this box because he wanted a variety of accessories that he can wear at his internship. He also wanted a box that offered more accessories such as bracelets, necklaces, and had a younger vibe to it. This box seemed like a good fit for us to review. He loved the color scheme. The belt fitted him perfectly which is awesome for him because we have a hard time finding him belts especially braided belts. He thought the sock print was amazing. There is helpful information on Facebook and Instagram for people like T that need a little more information about styling. He also liked the style tips. The items were carefully curated around a causal summer look. The box shows potential, and it will be interesting to see where it goes over the next few months.
T’s Final Thoughts: I really liked the box a lot. The belt fitted me perfectly and is high-quality. The socks are awesome. I liked having everything right there in the box ready to go with my outfit.
