Herb Stop is a locally owned small business out of Pine, Arizona that offers the Aroma Box, a monthly essential oils subscription box.  Master Herbalists Leilah Breitler and Natalie Hajdu strive to ensure that all their ingredients come from reliable and ethical sources.  Love that!  And, all their essential oils are 100% pure.

Each oil is described and then it gives you an aromatherapy tip, a tip from Leilah (the Master Herbalist), a tip from Natalie (the other Master Herbalist), and any safety precautions.  There is a nice color picture of each herb and the details are easy enough for the newest essential oil enthusiast to under stand (I’m referring to myself here).

So, here the oils are, in all their glory.  This month’s subscription included coffee, petitgrain, rosemary and a Conquer the Day roller.

The first oil in the box was Coffee ($10.50 for 1/6 oz).  What?  Coffee has an essential oil?  How did I not know this?  It really smells like a delicious cup of mouth watering coffee!

“Oh la la!  The scent is just like a nice fresh cup of coffee!  This rich and robust essential oil is stimulating and excellent for a quick pick-me-up.  Coffee has earned a spot in this month’s Aroma Box because of it’s ability to not only provide a quick boost of energy, but has other benefits such as improving mood, enhancing athletic performance, aiding in headache management, and it has a high anti-oxidant content!”

The Aromatherapy Tip for this oil was to add a few drops to a diffuser to give everyone in the room a pick-me-up.  And, it will make your house smell good if you are trying to sell your home.

I just added this oil with a drop of cinnamon to my diffuser.  It’s wonderful.  You should do it.

The next oil was Petitgrain 1/6oz (full size 1/2oz is $14.90).  So, raise your hand if you have never heard of Petitgrain before?  (My hand is up.)  But, it’s nothing scary, it is made from the leaves and branches of citrus trees!

“The uniquely bitter yet sweet scent of Petitgrain is actually from the Citrus family, however, Petitgrain is made from the leaves, not the peel.  This essential oil is wonderful for inflamed and irritated skin, and is excellent for you when you are feeling fragile – giving you self-confidence and strength.  Petitgrain appears in this month’s Aroma Box because of it’s ability to uplift and calm the nerves, soothe anxiety, tension as well as mental stress.”

I liked Leilah’s tip for this one.  “Petitgrain is wonderful in the bathtub!  Try mixing a few drops of Petitgrain with Epsom Salt next time you’re looking for a calming, yet uplifting soak.”

The next oil in the box was Rosemary 1/3oz (full size 1/2oz is $9.85).  Rosemary has always been one of my favorite scents.  Clumps of rosemary grow outside of my small town library.  It smells like home.

“This powerful, almost minty essential oil is used by herbalists for several ailments including relieving headache symptoms, stimulating hair growth (blocking DHT), healing skin issues, regenerating skin, and it is also excellent for acne.  Rosemary makes a splash in this month’s Aroma Box because of it’s ability to aid poor memory, mental strain and when an individual cannot concentrate.  This oil is excellent for fatigue, especially low mental and physical energy.”

I like Natalie’s Tip for this one.  (My hair is so thin after giving birth to a million children.)  “Place 1-2 drops of Rosemary essential oil on your brush before brushing your hair.  The scent is not only uplifting, but it is also excellent for stimulating hair growth!”      The roller for this month is called, “Conquer the Day.” ($15.95)  “Conquer the Day was blended with all stimulating and uplifting essential oils.  This energetic formula has a tingly effect on the skin and has a wonderful citrus and minty scent.

I liked Leilah’s tip for the roll on.  “Keep Conquer the Day in your car, especially for long road trips.  Roll a little onto a cotton ball and place in the ash tray, or under the seat.”

At $19.99 for the Aroma Essential Oil Monthly Subscription box you are getting several times your money worth.  I love that Herb Stop sends oils that work together and instructions on how to use them.  And the new variety of oils arriving every month encourages me to learn more about new oils instead of just ordering the few oils that I know about.
