Cat Lady Box August 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Cat Lady Box is the first monthly box for all the ladies that love their cats. The Basic Box includes cat themed jewelry, clothes, books, decor,art, limited editions and more delivered in a cat-approved box. The Crazy Cat Lady Box includes all of that along with a few treats for your kitties. A portion of all profits are donated to cat rescue organizations each month.

It looks like it will be a glamorous box!

The August theme is Glamour Puss! The information card provides details about the products, the artisans, and the price. It also includes information about the featured Cat Lady Artist of the Month.

The Holly and Cat Print by Toni Carbone sets the tone for the box.  I love the orange kitty in the picture.

Here are the items in the August CatLadyBox. Are you ready to be a Glamour Puss?

My, that is quite a large v-neck. This month’s shirt drapes differently. It is a loose, flowy, slouchy shirt. I love the print but don’t like the shirt style because it is quite revealing on me. I need to pair it with a tank underneath it. The shirt is incredibly soft and is printed in Florida.

Wow! The  Exclusive Glamour Puss Sunglasses ($29.99) are exquisitely packaged in a beautiful case that matches the scarf.  The sunnies were wrapped in a protective sleeve, then inside a plastic bag, that was nestled in the sunglass case, that was inside the sunglass box. The lens wipe matches the case which matches the scarf. The CatLadyEmblem gives the arms a stylish look. The frames are cat-eye frames, of course, with dark tint lenses. They are a heavier frame and a better quality than some of the other sunnies I reviewed this summer. I am impressed with all the details.

I recognized Asra Rae’s work. She also created the artistic umbrella in a Spring CatLadyBox. The Exclusive Spectra Fabulous Scarf ($22.99) is a gigantic and is lightweight. The glamorous cat is wearing a tiara. The scarf can be work as a hair scarf, neck scarf or a wrap. I think it will look meowvelous as a wrap.

I was going for the “I’m ready to ride in my imaginary convertible look.” My husband said I looked liked a babushka! My lipstick is half off because I realized that we needed to retake the photos because the others one were not PG. This shirt reveals A LOT of cleavage. I think the shirt will look glamour puss with a golden tank top.

Onto the items that are included in the CrazyCatLady Box!

The cat toys are absolutely adorbs. The Exclusive Glamour Puss Catnip Sunglasses Toy ($6.99) and Limited Edition Meowlympic Torch Catnip Toy ($4.99) are made by Loopies and contain catnip grown in the USA. I can’t get over how well it matched the theme and the Summer Olympics. The CatLadyBox curator has an excellent eye for detail and curating a box.

Time for the best part of the review! The cats are playing on an old comforter that we use for the pets. I did not use photo lights or flash in my pictures so bear with me! Sylvester was already rocking the sunnies while waving the torch in the second picture. Time to see more kitty pictures.

Time to play! Little Lamb was a whirlwind of white fur while playing.

How do I put these back on? Maybe if I try doing cat yoga tricks, I can get them back on my face!

My torch! I am not going to let my mommy take my torch and give it to Little Lamb. He is a camera hog.

The kitties and I are ready for our big glamour puss moment! The August 2016 CatLadyBox is purrfect for showing my meowvelous side! The exclusives, packaging, and attention to detail show throughout the box.  My favorite items are the human and cat sunglasses. I would have selected the scarf but the sunglasses were purrfect together. The cats loved their toys and were whirlwinds of fur in most of my pictures! I feel comfortable giving the CatLadyBox as a gift to crazy cat ladies. The CatLadyBox is purrfect for cat lovers!
