Cat Lady Box Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March-April 2016

The Cat Lady Box is the first monthly box for all the ladies that love their cats. The Basic Box includes cat themed jewelry, clothes, books, decor,art, limited editions and more delivered in a cat-approved box. The Crazy Cat Lady Box includes all of that along with a few treats for your kitties. A portion of all profits are donated to cat rescue organizations each month.

Colorful Spectra Cat Umbrella Exclusively by Cat Lady Box ($37.99) Remember the colorful kitty print from the January box? The artist, Asra Rae, is back with her painting ‘Spectra Carpet’  as a beautiful umbrella design. I love how the colors pop out and are cheerful. It often rains here and is much appreciated. This umbrella works a little different so be sure to read the directions on the information card.

Spring Kitten Tote Bag by Tiniest Tiger for CatLadyBox ($39.99): The large size tote will easily fit the umbrella and other necessities for a spring day. The dark charcoal gray bag features a Pantone’s spring color of the year, Peach Echo. Peach Echo is also the color of the lining. The tote has a zipper, pockets, and is made out of nylon with water-resistant PU polysynthetic leather trim, bottom, and kitten detail.

My first thought was that the tote bag was much larger than I expected. My second thought is that it is easy to clean which is a must in my crazy life. Perfect for a crazy cat lady! Then I noticed the snaps. You can snap it together, so it does not show the bottom part of the bag. I am not sure if that is the correct function for the snaps.

I was also able to fold it up and close it with the snaps. I have zero mechanical aptitude and am wondering what is the correct function of the snaps. Anyone? I will be using this bag anywhere I may worry about dirt and spills because it is easy to clean and has a zipper. In other words, often!

Onto the CrazyCatLady part of the box.

The cat toys for March are Hermie Worm by Loopies ($4.99) and Eco Stacks ($3.00).  The Hermie Worm contains organic catnip grown in the USA. The Eco Stacks is handmade in the USA. Will the cats like it?

Garfield started off with licking the Hermie Worm. He is our in-house catnip connoisseur. Puss in Boots checked out the Eco Stacks and gave it a few swats. Then he started to play with the Hermie Worm once Garfield was done. He did a few bunny kicks and gave it licks. Both toys will be popular with the kitties!

We have Cat Mews. You do not want to miss this. CatLadyBox is changing how the box is named to reflect when people are receiving the boxes. They will now be named for the month that they arrive. You will not be shorted a box. The cutoff date of the 20th and the shipping date of around the 26th will remain the same.

For example, the box that will ship around April 26 and will arrive early May will now be known as the May box instead of the April Box.  The name change makes sense because the items seem to focus on the upcoming month. We [Hello Subscription] called this box the March-April box just so you know that this is the box that arrived in April!

I’ll admit it. I stalked the CatlLadyBox Facebook page to figure out when my box was arriving because I was so curious about the March box. I have now tapped my inner crazy cat lady. It’s a fun box that is also practical and lets you show your love for your kitties. The art work on the umbrella is amazing. The tote is well made. The kitties love their toys. I officially announce myself as a crazy cat lady!
