I purchased my box on the first day of the sale. My box shipped from Wappingers Falls, NY and weighed in at 2.7 lbs. I purchased a box for my sister on the second day of the sale. It weighed in at 3.8 lbs and shipped from Gilroy, CA. I encouraged her to post a comment telling us what she received when it arrives on Saturday.
The fragile items were wrapped in bubble wrap.
Here are my items for the PopSugar All Star Mystery Box! It’s a good mix of products. They are all items that I received before which I expected because I have subscribed to PopSugar sporadically throughout the years.
The Simpatico Shea Butter Cream in Ambergris (3.4 oz, $22.00) made its debut in the November 2014 PopSugar Box. It’s a luxurious vegan formula shea butter cream with a musky scent. I hate the packaging but love the cream.
One of the fun things about Popsugar is that Lisa Sugar loves cobalt blue. Not only is that color featured in the exclusive Wine Glass Metallic Pens ($9.95), her name is written on the glass show on the packaging. All J, age 7, sees is window markers! He is currently drawing on his brother’s windows. Be sure to mark above the cold liquid line. Otherwise, the marker may run. The markers were also in the November 2014 PopSugar Box.
The remaining items are from the November 2015 PopSugar Box. Yes, all four of them.
Do you know what happens when you open a mustard jar that was sitting in a USPS truck all day? A small mustard explosion over yourself, cutting board, and floor. Wait for it to cool down completely before opening! The Terrapin Ridge Farms Pecan Honey Mustard (8 oz, $7.30) is a savory mustard that can be used for cooking and pretzels. The gluten-free mustard tastes delicious with cheese! The expiration date is 9/14/17.
Tarte is a beloved beauty brand in the subscription box world. The Tarte Beauty & The Box Eye Shadow ($22.00) that I received is the Apple of my Eye. Tarte is free of cruelty, parabens, mineral oils, phthalates, sodium laurel sulfate, and gluten.
The color palette is exactly the type of colors I used to wear at work before I gave up eyeshadow. Left to Right – Gala, Honeycrisp, Caramel, and Golden Delicious. Subscribers had received the palette before it was released to the public.
I wore my Deepa Gurnani Katie Crystal Headband ($56.00) throughout the holidays. The fabric holds the band in place which is a nice touch. I am happy to receive a backup. I did have to be careful when removing the headband because the clips holding the large stones in place would tangle in my hair.

I was distracted by the mustard explosion and forgot to take the candle picture which is why you see a little bit of melted wax. The Capri Blue Mercury Jewelry Box in Rain ($20.00) is a favorite of mine. It is a romantic candle when lit. It has a light gardenia scent that adds a little something to the atmosphere. I am happy to receive another candle because I finished my other candle awhile ago.
The PopSugar All Star Mystery Box was a lot of fun! I was hoping for items that I haven’t received yet but knew it would be difficult because I subscribed to the majority of the boxes. We will be enjoying our items. My favorite item is the candle, and my little guy’s favorite item is the window (wine) markers. I wish I ordered two!

I remember receiving that cream. It was a good one, but the packaging was so bad that I just didn’t want to reach for it…is that crazy?
No! I had the same reaction the first time. I threw the carton away immediately the second time and still feel guilty for using it.
I don’t subscribe to PS as their citations don’t align with my personal taste. But I did take a plunge with this box. Can’t wait to see what I get. With everyone and their mother having a birthday this month, I can at least gift whatever I don’t need.
