Vinyl Me, Please Subscription Box Review – June 2016

Vinyl Me, Please is an awesome service that helps you grow your music collection – every month get a special edition 12″ vinyl record, plus an album-inspired art print.

The packaging is stellar!  I had no fear about my record being warped or damaged in any other way.

More than just music; Vinyl Me, Please includes a bit more than just the album.  This month is Wells Fargo with their album Watch Out! I’m excited they have many exclusives to go along with it.

Drink up with Vinyl Me, Please.  Included with every album is a recipe for an alcoholic beverage to enjoy with the music. The cocktail recipe gives you a good idea of the vibe of the album.

Album cover.  It arrived in great shape, wrapped in plastic and inside of that heavy duty cardboard box.  This cover is unique as it has a pop up scene when you open it.

Wells Fargo were part of a counterculture that has been almost totally forgotten, even in its country of origin. In the 1970s, during the last decade of Zimbabwe’s War of Independence, rock music exploded with a message of unity and hope. Wells Fargo was at the forefront of the “Heavy Music” movement serving as fuel for the fight. Originally released as a series of singles, this is the first time their music has been released since its initial, limited pressing. More than four decades later we proudly present to you, in collaboration with Now-Again Records, Watch Out! for the first time in album form.

A twenty page insert was included with history of the band and photos.

The record looks amazing for Watch Out!  The green and yellow tie-dye design looks amazing spinning. I like the exclusive colors Vinyl Me, Please chooses for many of their albums.

Vinyl Me, Please has more than the one record per month.  Members can choose to receive store exclusives, curated new releases and classic re-releases.

I’m highly impressed with Vinyl Me, Please.  I love so many types of music, so it’s like receiving a gift when you open a package from them.
