This month’s Birchbox Man celebrates the freedom that comes with travelling. Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription for men. Through it, you’ll receive 3-4 sample items that are smaller versions of what you can order from the Birchbox site, plus a lifestyle item that is full-size. Boxes are $20 per month and you can earn points for reviewing the contents of each box you receive – and, since you can earn 110 points ($11 in the shop) for picking up a yearly subscription, this is a great deal.
The theme for June is “The Open Road.” Also, the information card no longer gives the details on each item, but they are available on the Birchbox site. See your box at birchbox.com/mybox.
Subscribers are given a sample choice opportunity via email/your account to choose a lifestyle item. Here’s what I got for my June box.
Richer Poorer No Show Socks – $15.00 two pack. No need for pesky ankle tan lines with these socks. Even if nobody can see them, these socks look awesome!
Kiehl’s “Ultimate Man” Body Scrub Soap ($15) This soap costs more than the box itself. You might be wondering why it costs so much but when you use it you get a better idea. You can feel it working and it has a very refreshing scent that definitely helps wake you up.
CW Beggs and Sons Face Scrub ($1.37) This is exclusive to Birch Box and this face scrub is incredible. I am a person who deals with an oily face and this may be the best scrub I have used. My face felt dry without losing a bunch of moisture. CW Beggs and Sons impressed me with this one.
Coola Sport White Tea Sunscreen Moisturizer ($3.2) Living in Arizona and vacations to Southern California and Las Vegas makes sunscreen a necessity. The sample from Coola was SPF 50 and that’s a good thing. The bad thing, this stuff smells horrible. I like a sunscreen that makes you think of being poolside during the summer, not one you would put on your chest to deal with a winter illness.
Ambre Histoires de Parfums ($3) The cologne smells very good and is made for men or women. I wore it today and enjoyed how long the scent lasted.
