Herb Stop Aroma Subscription Box Review & Coupon – June 2016

Herb Stop is a locally owned small business out of Pine, Arizona that offers a monthly Essential Oils Subscription Box.  Master Herbalists Leilah Breitler and Natalie Hajdu strive to ensure that all their ingredients come from reliable and ethical sources.  Love that!  And, all their essential oils are 100% pure.

One of the oils had either leaked just slightly (you really cannot tell that any is missing) or had some on the outside of the bottle when it was packaged, so a couple of the bottles and the info sheet had some discoloration and as an added bonus my mailbox smelled wonderful when I opened it!

For the phenomenal price of $19.99 (including shipping!!!!) you get 4 bottles of essential oils (1/3 oz or 1/6 oz each), essential oil blends or roll-on essential oil  blends.  Along with your aromas, you will receive a description of each oil, 3 tips on using each oil, as well as any safety information.  Seriously, it’s just $19.99 for all of this!

This card stock sheet gives you a detailed description of each of the oils.  There was a little discoloration from the oil that leaked, but you could still easily read it.

Each oil is described and then it gives you an aromatherapy tip, a tip from Leilah (the Master Herbalist), a tip from Natalie (the other Master Herbalist), and any safety precautions.  There is a nice color picture of each herb and the details are easy enough for the newest essential oil enthusiast to under stand (I’m referring to myself here).  They have also listed the price for the full size versions of this month oils.

The first oil in the box was Cypress oil.  The bottle was 1/3 oz size (full size is 1/2 oz and retails for $11.90).  From the info sheet:  “The unique and bright scent of Cypress has been used for a wide variety of ailments including joint stiffness, female hormone balance and stimulating circulation.  Cypress appears in this month’s Aroma Box because Cypress may aid in the reduction of cellulite and the appearance of varicose veins.  The oil is also used to bring emotional comfort to those experiencing a loss.”  The oil smells clean and piney, like fresh cut wood.  I liked Natalie’s tip for this oil, “Blend a few drops of Cypress (and Geranium) with some Rose, a Hydro-sol (water or witch hazel).  Use this spray to keep cool during hot flashes.”  I’m not quite there yet in this earthly progression, but I like to be prepared ahead of time.

This White Grapefruit oil (1/3 oz) was the next one in the box.  The full size is 1/2 oz and priced at $7.  This oil smells divine!!  It’s a crisp, sweet citrus scent.  The info sheet tells us, “The vibrant scent of Grapefruit makes mouths water!  This uplifting citrus has been used throughout history for it’s benefits in stress management, afternoon pick-me-ups and for symptoms associated with anxiety and fatigue.  Grapefruit has earned a spot in this month’s Aroma Box because of it’s benefits in stimulating lymphatic circulation, aiding cellulite reduction, healthy weight management, promoting appetite suppression as well as reducing sugar cravings!”  I liked Leilah’s tip on this one, to put some on a cotton ball and put it under the seat of your car for a long trip to increase alertness.

Sweet Fennel was in the box (1/6 oz bottle).  The full size is 1/2 oz and retails for $12.60.  This oil smells like anise or black licorice.  The info sheet tells us, “This sweet and black licorice-like essential oil is used by herbalists for several ailments including adrenal exhaustion, lymphatic drainage, aiding the rehabilitation of alcoholism, and as a digestive aid to relieve gas and nausea.  Fennel makes a splash in this month’s Aroma Box because of it’s use in supporting healthy weight loss goals, decreasing appetite, aiding in the reduction of cellulite and water retention.  This wonderful oil adds a bit of sweetness to oil blends.  Try mixing Fennel with oil mixtures that need a little fragrant lift.”  Leilah recommends adding a few drops of this oil with the Grapefruit oil and some Witch Hazel in a glass spray bottle and using it in the morning for an energizing spray.

This oil blend roll-on, Fat Attack, was in the box.  It retails for $14.95 and it smells delicious!  “Fat Attack was blended with all weight related issues in mind.  This sprightly formula has an intriguing scent that changes the longer it’s on your body – citrus changes into herbal which morphs into woodsy.  Try this blend for skin elasticity, water retention, cellulite and even as a perfume/cologne!”  Natalie’s tip instructs, “Fat Attack can be inhaled to aid in curbing appetite and the desire for sweets.  Make sure to roll it on your wrists in the morning so that you can breathe it in as needed.”

At $19.99 for the Aroma Essential Oil Monthly Subscription box you are getting several times your money worth.  Where else can you get 3 pure essential oils and an essential oil roll-on (that you can use as a cologne this month) for $19.99?  I’m still amazed and loving the variety of oils and the thorough descriptions and recommendations for use.
