BowTieMeDown May 2016 review

My handmade bowtie this month!  The bow-tie is a permanent-tie with a hook enclosure, a good style for the occasional wearer.  It has a more polished look than a clip-on, yet you avoid the endless futzing involved in self-tying.

The vintage fabric used for this tie has a look that brings me back to the 90’s, both in palette and design.  It has a bloodspatter pattern and would make a superb tie for a Dracula costume.  If you are wearing bowties on a regular basis, then you have and appreciation for the fabulous, the arcane, and the ironic, so you understand how sweet vintage coolness is.

I can’t let my teenager see this review! I had a totally different view of the bowtie. Now all I can see is bloodsplatters 🙂
