My customized product information card included a brief description of each item along with my savings.  This month, I used the Expert Pick option and let the eSalon team select products for me.  On a side note, I noticed that I wasn’t using all of my products up between shipments and changed my deliveries from every 4 weeks to every 6 weeks (don’t forget you can space deliveries out to as much as every 12 weeks).  

All of the items were wrapped in tissue paper and packed into this reusable cloth bag.  Tip:  Use the bags to store hair tools when not in use.

Here’s what was chosen for me based on my hair profile.  

This is our must-have for tending to hair pre and post coloring. Treating strands before coloring helps to prep hair for an even application, while nourished strands post-color help seal in your hue with vibrant shine. Between applications, our velvety-smooth masks also helps to boost hydration and increase shine for a revitalized, healthy-looking effect.

Deeply Invested Nourishing Hair Mask ($19.00):  This is an intensive conditioning mask that helps repair and renew damaged hair.  It contains argan oil, shea butter, and hydrolyzed wheat protein to nourish strands.  I’ve talked about a lot of products that left my hair soft, but this did so much more.  It made my hair feel silky, which doesn’t happen often with curls.  The mask has a strong floral scent – like having a giant garden bouquet on your head.  I’m more of a clean linen/soft musk girl, so this wasn’t my favorite scent, but I’ll deal with it if my hair continues to look and feel this fabulous.

It’s fast become the hardest worker in all our stylists’ kits: the ultimate does-it-all for gorgeous hair. If you’re looking for a chance to veto the need for hot tools, our light-to-medium hold styler allows for easy air drying, handling frizz while adding hydration, soft body and shine.

In Perfect Form Hair Styling Lotion ($14.00):  A lightweight lotion that provides easy styling and increased body while enhancing moisture.  I liked that this didn’t weigh my hair down or make it feel stiff.  This also helped to cut down my blow out time.

This is a must-have on our stylist station. It’s a super versatile, lightweight treatment oil that can be used on its own to glide over your hair for added hydration and glow-factor, or mixed into any leave-in or styler. Think of this argan + coconut oil blend as your secret weapon for seriously luscious locks.

Shining Armor Renewing Treatment Oil ($18.00):  This is a nourishing treatment with argan oil that increases shine, strengthens hair, and protects color.  I used this on my hair after the mask to boost shine.  It has a light fragrance that helped to tone down the scent of the mask.  This also helped lessen tangles while my hair air dried.  I can’t wait to try this with my regular leave in!

Purchased individually, these items would have cost me $51.  By using The Match-Up, I saved 32% or received the styling lotion for free, depending on how you prefer to look at it (I took into account shipping fees).  Plus, I appreciate the convenience of having personalized selections sent to me based on my particular hair needs.
