Pearlesque Box

Pearlesque Box is a monthly subscription box that features skincare products from around the world that are all non-toxic and natural – with a new destination each month! Every month, there will be a minimum of 1-2 full-size products and 1-3 travel-size products from around the world. The box rotates between face and body products. One brand will be featured each month.

Skin Essence Organics - Canada
Skin Essence Organics – Canada

The Pearlesque Box theme for March 2016 is The Beauty in Canada. Skin Essence Organics is the featured product line. I am curious about Skin Essence Organics. It is certified organic using cold press extracts. It’s non-gmo, gluten-free, fair trade, cruelty-free, with no preservatives, chemicals, or filters.  It is Leaping Bunny certified which is the Canadian organization that certifies cruelty-free products.

I cannot wait to check out the items. I am looking forward to trying out the eye serum.

Ocular Eye Serum
Ocular Eye Serum

The Ocular Eye Serum ($17.13) is specifically formulated for the eye area and protects the delicate skin from chemicals in makeup along with air pollution. It works in reducing fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles. The lightweight formula feels refreshing and absorbs quickly into the skin.

The topper keeps people like me from applying too much serum at once. Very important, because only a little bit is needed.

The Serum
The Serum
The Ocular Eye Serum contains eight different oils including rosehip seed oil, jojoba oil, and apricot oil. The serum had a slight jojoba oil scent that dissipated after applying the serum. I will be using this every night!
Fresh-Facial Cleanser
Fresh-Facial Cleanser

The Fresh-Facial Cleanser ($20.11) smells incredible. It has a wonderful lemony-peppermint scent because it contains lemongrass oil and peppermint oil.  No synthetic fragrances! The cleanser removes all the yucky stuff on your face including dirt, makeup and oils that can lead to breakouts. The cleanser felt luxurious on my hand. Sadly, I will be passing this to my sister because it contains witch hazel, which I cannot use with my rosacea. It is perfect for her skin!

Nourish Fcial Moisturizer (Combination/Aging Skin)
Nourish Facial Moisturizer (Combination/Aging Skin)

The Nourish Facial Moisturizer (combination/Aging Skin) ($23.84) is a serum that I can’t wait to try! The Rosehip oil and Neroli oil is what makes this serum great for aging skin along with the Vitamin C. I noticed that Zinc Oxide is in the formula which leads me to believe that the serum can be used day or night. Kudos to Skin Essence for including a detailed description on its website on how to properly use a serum. The skin should be slightly wet before applying the serum. I use the water mists from subscription boxes to wet my face.

The directions on the bottle remind you to shake it well. I shook it vigorously for about 30 seconds and did not see any separation. The scent is a light pleasing scent with a tinge of macadamia oil. The scent disappeared after a few minutes. The serum does feel moisturized enough to use as a moisturizer.
It’s another great month for Pearlesque Box. Skin Essence Organics looks to be a fantastic skincare line!  I’m impressed with it being vegan, Leaping Bunny certified, organic, and it uses essential oils. I like how Pearlesque Box switched around the products each month so that you are not accumulating too many beauty products. I finished everything from my February Box except for the mask which I am still using. It’s a fantastic way to discover new beauty products and to see what works for you! You can purchase this exact box through March 5.

I had a chance to try the facial cleanser while I had either a painful hive or painful large pimple. After one shrink to half the size and fill the pain some. And the facial cleanser has a pleasant light scent.

Is every month the products gluten free or does it vary?

I’ve noticed that the majority of luxury natural beauty products are gluten-free. Pearlesque Box includes beauty products that are natural, non-toxic, and organic. The subscription has a skip option.

We have the March through June spoilers listed in this post – https://hellosubscription.com/2016/02/pearlesque-box-march-april-may-june-2016-brand-spoilers-coupon/ I did check the spoilers. The April and June are listed as gluten-free. I looked quickly through the ingredients for the May product line. It appears to be gluten-free, but it is best if you double-check.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

This box looks great. And love that it is gluten free.
