Hey! It’s your birthday! Bramble Box is a monthly subscription box sending imaginative play kits to kids every month. You’ll get fun gender neutral play kits around a theme every month that will inspire your kids to creatively explore. Play, role play, and pretend play are all essential to achieving developmental milestones.
The packaging has been updated. It used to be a relatively plain box with a sticker of the fox logo — now the box has printed graphics of the fox logo and images of some of the dress-up themes.
Bramble Box always comes neatly wrapped in tissue. I love Bramble Box fox — he’s so calm and contemplative.
An instruction card is included in the package about this month’s featured activity. It’s nice that it also included a warning against choking hazards for children under 3.
March celebrants (even those who aren’t) will have a lot of fun with this month’s Bramble Box birthday theme! The box came with all the basics needed for a birthday party, including the materials to make a foam birthday cake. It includes colorful plates, party invitations, party hats, and decorations to make the cake stand out.
The birthday cake decorations are strategically placed inside a paper bag.
Inside the paper bag are foam shapes, rickrack ribbons, and colored felt papers to decorate the foam birthday cake. The foam shapes can also be used as a party hat decor, so any excess won’t go to waste! There’s also a birthday candle included so the kids can make their birthday wish.
Our kids got themselves busy writing down names on the invitation card.
There are several foam shapes to choose from but the kids liked the foam hearts.
Here’s the final product. There’s plenty of foam shapes leftovers!
Everyone got their own slice of cake. Obviously, the “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service” policy is not in effect here.
Our kids definitely enjoyed “eating” their cakes and celebrating a “pretend” birthday party.
They always have a great time with Bramble Box. The crafts are simple in concept, but they allow boundless creativity and encourage imaginative play and our children always clamor to get out their Bramble Box. The crafting is only a small part of the fun, as the completed sets get used over and over (many are food-related and become part of our play kitchen at home).
