My Geek Box is a monthly subscription of geek goods shipped directly from the UK to your front door. Each month you’ll get a mystery box filled to the brim with geek gamer and retro gear, including a limited edition t-shirt in your chosen size. Every month they choose a different theme: from zombies, to superheroes, to video games and even your favourite films. It’s not only the theme which changes from month to month, either – each box is unique, filled with a fresh batch of awesomeness. Because it ships from the UK, shipping costs factor into the overall expense of the box.
Everything in the box. There’s no theme, but the January one was LEGENDS.
Halo 5 Guardians Calendar ($7.49) A little late (I prefer my calendars to come a month before) but appropriate nonetheless. This arrived earlier for UK subscribers 🙂
You can totally chop up the scenes and make a collage when you’re done with it.
Marvel New X Men Book 5 Graphic Novel ($11.49)
Founded and financed by the brilliant telepath Professor Charles Xavier, the X-Men are forever sworn to protect a world that hates and fears them. But on the homefront, there’s trouble brewing at the Xavier Institute. One of the newest X-Men, Xorn-a healer who was imprisoned in China before coming to Xavier’s-has been chosen to teach a special class for some of the institute’s more difficult students. One such student is the Xavier Institute’s most promising pupil, the Omega-level telepath Quentin Quire. Having just learned he was adopted, and in the midst of what may be secondary mutation, Quentin has decided everything in the world is a lie. Now, with a growing habit for a new drug called Kick, Quentin is quickly becoming more powerful than the X-Men could ever imagine.
Oooh this one looks to have some dark themes! I love the minor stories with the X Men!
Marvel Comics Captain America Vinyl Sticker (~$6) Includes 4 mini stickers and perfect for laptops, mirrors, devices, whatever you’d like. I thought this set was pretty awesome and I loved the retro comics style.
Superman Bath Duck ($12.50) I admit, I totally laughed when I took this out but whether you have kids or not, a geeky bath item/decor is much appreciated!
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Keychain ($4.25) Hello actually licensed Zelda item! Great quality, the price is marked down $10 from the original, but that doesn’t detract from the niceness of this keychain.
Hylian Shield Shirt: And another Zelda item, this one is cracked and broken. This version also looks to be from Twilight Princess!
This box was about half and half for me. I liked but didn’t love the novel, wasn’t big on the calendar, but I thought the rest of the items were great. The price is extremely low in the UK and although it doesn’t have Loot Crate’s buying power or ability to get those exclusive items, it’s really fun. There tends to be more Dr Who tend than in a US box, but none this month!

That duck is so cute.
These guys are crooks. I ordered the February box which was listed as Arcade with 5-8 arcade items and 2 t-shirts. They sent me the old Jan box listed above. When I complained, they said there was nothing they could do as they sent out the subscription boxes at random (?)
Then they went and charged me for 2 more months after I cancelled.
dat zelda merch tho. <3
