J, my 7-year-old, assisted me in unboxing the February 1Up Box. He was excited to help me because his aunt sometimes buys the 1UP Box to use as gifts for him and his older brother.
He was beyond excited! Kirby is in the box!!!
J held off his excitement so I could take pictures. J loves playing Kirby and thinks he is cool. Kirby can beat anything.
Everything in the February 2016 Transform Theme 1 Up Box!
The Kirby Plush is the big item in my 7-year-old eyes. Kirby is in his standard form and has not transformed yet. J has been running around the house and having Kirby eat everything!
The Metallic Hero Tattoos are Hulk and Iron Man. Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk. Tony Stark puts on a suit and transforms into IronMan. Both super heroes are popular with my boys.
The Mutant Spider Necklace is a nod to all the different Spidermen. J wore it right away. It can fit either an adult or a child.
The Adventure Dog Sweatband is clever! Jake, the dog, can stretch and transform himself into weapons! Another hit with my 7-year-old.
The Mario Brothers Window Decals are of items that can transform Mario and give him different powers. J already has them on his window! He loves stickers. I am glad that they are not stickers that can end up on the wall or the table.
The boys spent a lot of time discussing what characters are on the shirt. The best they could come up with is that it has something to do with Mega Man from Super Smash Bros with Metall. One of the things that is great about 1 Up is that shirts are available in children, men, and women sizes!
J transformed himself into a 1Up Boy. He is wearing the pin, necklace, t-shirt and sweatband while holding Kirby. Kirby resisted in eating the camera!
1Up is a family friendly box. The February box was a big hit with J because it was all fandoms that he recognized. It was fun to open the box and watch him enjoy a geek/gamer box. He has been playing with Kirby all night. The February box is still available for a few more days!
