This is the September 2015 Citrus Lane box for 12 month old boys. Citrus Lane is a subscription box for babies, kids, and toddlers and they send GREAT items that are always a hit with my kids! Always high quality toys, books, learning items, snacks, and an occasional gift for mom.

Hohner Kids Egg Shaker & Mini Cage Bell ($8) These are fun, well-made musical toys. Hohner was featured in all the boxes this month and it was nice to get some age-appropriate instruments. I had to laugh though – my husband usually gives me the bells so I can try to get his attention from upstairs! Mom gift?
Oogaa Silicone Train Spoon ($5.95) A fun spoon that’s BPA free and made of silicone.
Choo Choo!
Hape Wooden Book – Farm ($9.99) This is a great sturdy book with fun colors. You can tell a story or identify the animals – however you want to interact with your baby.
Little Royal Two Socks ($3.50) Made especially for Citrus Lane. These came in 12-24 month size for me thankfully.

Although this was a perfectly solid entry item-wise, we’ve had much better boxes. This box was the same for brand new babies up to at least age one in September, and that was a tad disappointing. The value of this box was only around $27, which was just a bit too low. We should be getting our October boxes soon – I’m hoping that they’re a big improvement!
