The information card details all the items in the box.

Flip side. I like this style of information card – it’s fun!

A mini mag comes with the box. It’s always fun with some great articles and a geek gift guide! This month it was for Whovians.

I saw the preview for The Martian the other night. My husband and I are pretty excited about it!

Espionage Cosmetics Nailed It! Nail Wraps ($10) Yes! I really did mean that Geek Fuel nailed it! As far as I know the first item for women in one of the larger geeky subscription boxes! Even though I am terrible at nail wraps I’m trying these! I am feeling super motivated! FYI Espionage Cosmetics has a monthly nerdy makeup and manicure subscription box that’s currently in a closed beta that should launch January 2016. These are really fun ombre (which I’ve never tried on my own) glitter super shero nail wraps!

I loved the guide on the back. I thought it was funny although they could have encouraged the dudes to have a rad mani too.

Roche Fusion Steam Game Code ($12) I was totally bummed that this was a Windows game because it looks like a really fun shooter. Maybe I’ll get myself a windows laptop for Christmas. HAHAHAHAHAHAH #no.

Bob’s Burgers #3 ($3.99) This is an exclusive cover and was just released a few weeks ago. I totally went back and took a peek inside, it’s hilarious. I love the “Leek Fuel Burger” on the cover art!

In the third issue of Volume 2 of the Bob’s Burgers Comic Book, we bring you more titillating tales from the Belchers! Louise discovers the wondrous wonders of the ride that stops time; Genederella is given a chance to attend a Joyous Jam Jamboree with the help of a special fairy; Tina brings us on a super-spy adventure to sabotage an evil villain; Bob’s imagination drives his latest Fantasy Food Truck; and Linda tries again to take a nice family photo in front of the restaurant.

The comic was appropriately bagged and boarded and came with a certificate of authenticity.

ARES 3 Mission Button ($2?) This item is from The Martian. It’s a fun button to add to your collection, but I know I will be passing this one on to my kids – it’s excellent flair for astronaut dressup! The movie opens October 2 and is based on The Martian by Andy Weir. I may need to hit up the library!

BBC Doctor Who Ice Cube Tray ($4.99) Ok I don’t watch Doctor Who at all but this is a legitimately awesome ice cube tray. Even if you’re not part of that fandom, you can be in solidarity with fellow geeks and make ice Daleks and TARDISes. TARDII? See, not in the fandom.  Think Geek suggests making a Chocolate TARDIS. And I say yes.

Bounty Hunter T-Shirt ($15) This one is a mashup of Boba Fett and Ziggy Stardust! Two intergalactic celebrities all on one shirt. This shirt cracks me up!

Erick Scarecrow Galactick Poster ($10) 50 posters mailed to subscribers were limited edition! This poster depicts Kylo Ren and the card mentions that the poster will “Awaken the Force.”  As usual I guess we’ll call it an homage, because if it was licensed I am pretty sure they’d say so. I can’t wait for the movie! Erick Scarecrow is an artist that owns a limited edition gaming collectibles and collaborates with brands like Sony but also with independent game designers. There’s a spread on him right in the center of the mini mag.

The value of this box was around $46, plus the game code, so $58 if you like to count that in your values!  This was my fave box ever I think from Geek Fuel. It was fun with great witty items that appealed to a wide variety of audiences. I loved the nods to Star Wars and the comic and the nail decals and everything. It was an all-around superlative box! Even I am looking at the price twice and asking myself really? Is that it? So a totally great value as well.

Hi Brandy! Would you be able to recommend a geek/ gamer box for a 10 year old boy who loves Star Wars, Marvel and pop funko? Got loot crate but was somewhat a bust ( although I just ordered past boxes that could be a hit with my son)… I went to read your gamer sub list, but there is so many, I’m overwhelmed! Thank you

I would subscribe to the marvel box (marvel collector corps) and the Star Wars box (smugglers bounty). They are bimonthly on alternating months and they are produced by Funko. That would pretty much be the best gift of all time for a 10 year old boy. And there are shirts in each box. Lol that one was easy. Always happy to make a recommendation if you need help on others! Loot Crate often has mature themes or can be too themed for younger kids.
