I was really excited to hear that I would be reviewing August’s calmbox! Once I opened the box, I immediately noticed the intoxicating scent of lavender. The box was packaged so beautifully and felt very inviting. Calmbox was nice enough to include a discount code to all Hello Subscription readers. The code “HELLOSUBSCRIPTION” is good for $5 off your first box.
Everything in the August calmbox!
– “You are Here” by Thich Nhat Hanh: Once I started digging through the box, I noticed “You are Here” by Thich Nhat Hanh. The book discusses how to be in the present moment and the essence of the Buddha’s teaching. I don’t think this book could have came at a better time. I have been thinking of starting meditation and becoming more in-tune with my inner-self.
– Delta Waves by Grey Houston: This CD will help you relax and unwind. It’s perfect for sleep, meditation, yoga and calm. I love listening to calming music. It’s even great to play it in the car so, the kids can calm down, as well.
– Adam’s Handmade Lavender Soap: This beautifully packaged lavender soap smells amazing! I can’t wait to try it during a nighttime shower before bed.
– Organic Lavender Sachet: I love the calming scent of lavender. So, I was extremely happy to find this sachet of organic lavender in my calmbox. I’ll probably place it on my nightstand so, I can fall asleep with the aroma.
– Tumbled Amethyst Stone: This stone provides calm, balance and peace. It easily fits in your pocket or purse and you can use it as a reminder to relax and focus on your inner peace.
– Yogi Relaxed Mind Tea: 4 packets of tea to enjoy and sip while I read my new book “You are Here” by Thich Nhat Hanh.
– Annie’s Organic Fruit Snacks: I love anything by Annie’s! These organic Bunny Fruit Snacks will definitely be enjoyed soon!
Another thoughtful touch that calmbox included were “Mindfulness Reminders” – which this month were quotes by Buddha. I love the quotes that they chose – they are beautiful and enlightening.
Overall, I am very impressed with calmbox. I felt every item has a very calming and meaningful purpose. The box, as a whole felt very cohesive. I love that they included a book that I know I will find very beneficial and other items to help me along my peaceful journey. I love what calmbox stands for and how they are providing calm and peace in a box every month.
