TomBoxes June 2015 Review – Period Subscription Box – First Box $8!

TomBox (formerly SwaagBox) is a period subscription box delivering monthly essentials to your door step. It’s regularly $16 per month and your first box is just $8. Just use this link to sign up.  You will get your choice of tampons or pads from Always, Playtex and Tampax (a whole box/package) and a sweet treat, plus makeup and jewelry. You can cancel via phone, email, or through your account, plus you can pay through Paypal (and manage your subscription that way too).

U by Kotex Tween Pads ($3.65) I like the U Kotex pads because they are a good size for purses, and the packaging is super cute.

Lasecut Rose Necklace: The necklace that came in the TomBox has a silver rose pendant. I thought that the necklace was pretty.

Eyebrow brush: Also, an eyebrow brush was in the box with no label. It worked like the average eyebrow brush.

The Cailyn Gel Eyeliner ($21) was my favorite out of this box because it’s so smooth when applied. I can already tell that I will be using this daily.

The Ciga Sparkling Summer Eyeshadow is a powder eyeshadow that is burgundy-brownish. I enjoyed it because it was well-made and compact.

There is the Coolway Glow Oil Treatment (sample) but I didn’t understand what it was. I might have my mom review it if that’s okay.

Note from Brandy: It’s not surprising that Iris didn’t know what this was, because it doesn’t say when to apply it – only as “the last step.” So I guess you’re supposed to figure that out on your own! Expect to get a mix of high and low in these boxes – the Cailyn is a Birchbox item, but some items like the brush & jewelry are unbranded!
