Gentleman’s Box Review – June 2015

Gentleman’s Box is a monthly men’s subscription box – including the required essentials for the savvy man. Every box includes the latest issue of GQ and selected items ranging from style to grooming.

This month’s GQ features Chris Pratt, the man who went from relative obscurity to a A-list by defeating Lord Business and hanging with a talking raccoon.

This month’s neckwear is courtesy of Skinny Tie Madness ($30).  The chambray (light peachy pink) tie is great for summer and adds just enough color to brighten a white shirt ensemble.  Or pair with a dark blue shirt for some pop and contrast.The accompanying pocket square, also by STM ($15), is a gentle sky blue and a great accent for a blue blazer.

Swago wipes ($6) are handy cologne in a pouch.  Perfect for travel or gym bag.  Gentleman’s Box has kindly provided four scents to try.  I like the scratch and sniff feature which helps you pick out an appropriate scent without tearing it open.

Tie Mags ($30) offers an alternative to the pin or clip.  Has the sharp look of a tie pin without damaging your nice ties.  Careful around kids and pacemakers.
