May 2015 My Pretend Place DIY Projects Subscription Box Review & Coupon

The May My Pretend Place DIY Projects box had a great Ninja theme! My Pretend Place is all about learning, dress-up, and adventure, including DIY adventures.  My Pretend Place offers a quarterly themed pretend play and dress up subscription box for children aged 3-6.  They also have a monthly DIY Projects subscription!  The May box had a great Ninja theme!

One of the things I love best is that there are always enough supplies for TWO of the projects to be made in every box! My daughter also really digs the pretend letter, this time from Sensei Honshu. She takes it super seriously.

The project was really simple – DIY nunchuks & headband. For some reason it’s a lot more fun if you make them (even if mom does most of it).

I tied E’s knots while A read the letter to him.

And these kids were off fighting before they even got to their headbands! My daughter complained that she didn’t see how it would attach to her head and I responded that it was obvious she needed to watch Karate Kid (Dad agrees).

The kids had an awesome time decorating their headbands and playing ninja!  We loved this box!
