I was really pleasantly surprised by the November Citrus Lane box for my 5 year old daughter (she turns 6 in one week and still loves this box). This one came in a larger outer box and I was thrilled to have it delivered on November 30, as I’d ordered the Melissa & Doug Advent Calendar & Santa Magnetic dressup as add-ons to this box, but for some reason it shipped really late. Lucky me, I get parcel deliveries on Sundays and it ended up arriving on time.

If you’d like to subscribe to Citrus Lane, they have an AWESOME deal right now – take 40% off your first box plus get a Janod Stocking Stuffer bundle set FREE.  See the potential items you’ll get and all the details on this post, or just visit Citrus Lane by clicking here and sign up with coupon code JOLLY40. If you don’t have a child but have one to gift for, send it to yourself – you may cancel any time after receiving your first box, or you may want to get a few more!

  • Barefoot Books Animal Boogie Mini Cube Puzzle ($12.99) Same as my son’s box. A great sturdy and fun puzzle! Love Barefoot Books.
  • Faber-Castell Watercolor Paper Pad ($5.39) For use with the paints!
  • Faber-Castell Connector Paint Box ($12.94) I was expecting the same items as my son’s box (see review here) so I was THRILLED when I opened up my box and found the paints. If you read a lot of reviews you’ll know that I cut off my kids from receiving items in Oct/Nov/December because birthday/Christmas are in December and I collect things for their gifts. My daughter will be delighted and it will be wrapped up and on top of her big Santa present – an art desk!
  • me4Kidz Cool It Buddy ($3) this is a useful item but a repeat (which I did not mind at all). We loved this item the first time!

This arrived with the box, because I’d previously received the Cool It Buddy on this subscription. That didn’t bother me at all so the book was a real bonus (although not really age appropriate).

The November Citrus Lane boxes included a coupon code for 25% off plus free shipping at Tiny Prints. I noticed that Citrus Lane didn’t pretend the Tiny Prints code was an item.  There was one last year that was an “item” and it required a $99 purchase. This one is good on any non-sample order, which is actually a good code depending on how much you order.
Tiny Prints Cyber Monday

But then again… it’s easy to save a bit more on Tiny Prints if you have the timing right (as I’m writing this the banner is showing 40% off!).
