Beauty Joy is a new subscription box. You’ll receive one hand-curated jewelry item, one full size beauty item, and 2-3 deluxe samples every month! Boxes are $15 per month and you can save $3 off your first box with code SPLURGE. Apparently this code will drop to $2 after November 30, after which it will expire on December 14. IMG_6397

Everything was really beautifully packaged.IMG_6398

I was surprised by the variety and value of everything in the box!

Korres Volcanic Mineral Mascara ($20) I was psyched to see a Korres product even if I didn’t get 600x the volume. It uses volcanic soil to amplify the volume.IMG_6400

Blistex Lip Balm ($1.50) My husband and I are always looking for balms with SPF, so this is a great score!

Avene Cleansing Cream ($2) This is only available through physicians and places like SkinStore.

Handmade Bangle Bracelet with Silver European Beads ($15) I am not sure how I feel about this one yet. I think it would look good next to a leather wrap bracelet.IMG_6402

Essie Sleek Stick Nail Appliques  ($10.25) These are already UV cured so they are supposed to be long lasting. I am really interested in trying them but I bit off all my nails last week and I have some growing out to do. My only thing is that I find these appliques in general VERY LARGE compared to the size of my nails.

I think this was a nicely curated box at a good price point.

The bracelet is very pretty, but I’m not sure about this box. And not to be a downer, but they’ve had Essie nail wraps at the dollar store for the last 2 months.

I thought it was a good start but I need to see a few boxes fen everyone before really giving a verdict. Super curious usually for the second box.

I signed up for this box in December and was told it had shipped to me. That is not true because the tracking number they gave me shows they never sent the box to the post office to mail to me. I have tried e-mailing the company and have gotten no answer. I just want to warn others about subscribing to this box.

      Tara,

We shipped out hundreds of packages in December,, and we are very sorry that the Post Office did not deliver yours. Shipping for FedEx, UPS, and the USPS were quite terrible with accidents, delays, miss-deliveries, and many lost packages.

Normally, we would have emailed you back within a day or so. However, for December and the beginning of January, we were closed for the holidays, which we announced on our Facebook page, website, emails, and auto-reply. Therefore, we were not able to respond to you until this week. We responded to your email earlier this week and told you we were sending out a replacement box, which you should be getting this week. We made sure to have it required to get your signature too to ensure only you receive it. Do let us know when it arrives as we care about our customers, and want each and everyone of them to enjoy and love their box.
