Baker’s Krate is a Canadian subscription that sends you a box of delicious desserts once a month. The bakeries featured are all Canadian and local! Baker’s Krate recently revamped their entire box, so the new box is more compact. The familiar logo is still there, but the packaging is now white instead of brown.
(Please excuse the change from my normal white background — I picked up my mail on my lunch break today, and my coworkers twisted my arm to get me to open it at work…)

I really love the polka dotted tissue paper and little whisk/rolling pin sticker that has come in with the revamp!
First look! The info card this month has a very summery feel.
I actually really do like this print!
Four items from four different bakeries! Note the expiry dates always included, which is appreciated. This month’s box was shipped with enough time to avoid the upcoming Canada Post mail strike.
An in-depth ingredients list is included for all of the items included.
Turtle Slice (Goodies Bake Shop) Who doesn’t love Turtles? This square is packed with chocolate, pecans, and caramel!
Imperials (High Tea Bakery) High Tea has included imperials before, and they are always fantastic. These imperials (they sent two!) were huge, and smothered in almond glaze with sweet jam inside. My coworker Michele said they reminded her of when she was a little girl, and had a nostalgic feel to them. I thought these had a bit too much icing on them, and found them a little too sweet for me personally.
S’Mores Cookies (Cookie Girl) Cookie Girl has become one of my new favourites! Her cookies are always creative and delicious; these s’mores cookies are packed with chunks of graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow! Lauren and I split one of these (they’re huge as well!) and agreed they tasted exactly like a s’more. Again, Baker’s Krate sent two of these.
Cheesecake Brownie (Caked With Love) Lauren and I also sampled this cheesecake brownie, and agreed it was great — although neither of us could taste much of the cheesecake flavour. The texture, however, was definitely more like a cheesecake — light and fluffy and very moist.
This month’s Baker’s Krate featured four goodies from four bakeries. Since their revamp we’re not sent as many different items, but we are sent multiples to share and sample, which I think is just as great.

Tried my best to reach inside my computer to get me the goodies but it didn’t work. They all looked delicious.
LOL, I know that feeling!
So jealous that these only ship within Canada at the moment. The turtle and brownie look sinfully good!
Hopefully they’ll be able to ship out of the country soon – it must be tricky with baked goods because of expiry dates and also things with chocolate in them!
