Sudz & Scrubz is a brand new monthly subscription box that sends all natural, handmade bath products to your home. When you sign up, you have a choice of three subscriptions: bath sudz box, shower sudz box or kids sudz box.
I was not able to tell much from the box. The black squiggles do stain the product. You may want to wipe them off quickly before placing them on the table.
Improvements have been made to the information card. I like the changes! The theme is Back to the Basics.
The April items look great! It is not often that a shower box is available. Please note that at one time the subscription box was described as being chemical-free. It is no longer described as such.
Everything was well packaged in shrinkwrap. No worries about spillage!
The new labels look great. I would like to see weight added in their next batch of labels. I am going to guess that the weight is 4-5 ounces. I could be wrong.
The Ooey Gooey Vanilla Sugar Scrub is perfectly named. The vanilla scent is not overpowering. The scrub has moderate scrubbing action and is moisturizing. Some of the ingredients are brown sugar, white sugar, avocado butter and mango butter.
The Sudz & Scrubs After Shower Lavenwood Healing Butter is my favorite item. It has a wonderfully blended scent of lavender and cedarwood essential oils. The shea butter in it making the consistency heavier than a whipped butter, but lighter than a hard shea body butter. I guess the weight to be around 2 ounces.
Shower bombs!!! The Sinus Clearing Eucalyptus Shower Steamers is my second favorite item in the box. I used one this morning to help clear out my sinuses. I placed the steamer at the very edge of where the water hits to activate it without having it dissipate quickly. The wood soap dish will be used and is a wonderful bonus.
The Exfoliating Charcoal Face Soap looks to be a standard size bar. Charcoal detoxifies the face by pulling out the dirt. Sudz & Scrubz included a great tip that it should be followed-up with moisturizer because charcoal can be drying. Both soaps were wrapped in shrinkwrap. Unfortunately, I am unable to use either soap because I have a SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) allergy. My sister’s gain!
The Salted Rim Margarita Body Soap has salt on top. The Margarita scented soap will delight those looking for unusual scents. The soap size is a smaller full-size soap. It arrived in time for Cinco de Mayo.
It’s smart of Sudz & Srubz to offer a shower box as one of its subscriptions. I take showers more than baths and appreciate having a box catered towards my shower needs. I also like how they are improving upon their subscription such as offering better information cards. The names and combinations are fun!
