Scentbird Perfume Subscription Review & Coupon - September 2015

Scentbird is a monthly perfume and fragrance decanting subscription. With Scentbird you get a thirty day supply of perfume every month. When you join you fill out a profile – including three of your favorite designer perfumes – then you make a wishlist of perfumes you’d like to try. You’ll get a new sprayer every month, plus your first month includes a case to hold whatever perfume you’re currently using! You can add extra cases to an existing subscription for $12.95.

Scentbird’s “Fragrance Editors” pick a new scent every month to feature. The September one is Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline (this was my Scentbird Scent for June!). The scent for October is CLEAN CASHMERE You can see all the previous ones at the bottom of the Scent of the Month page. I will use this when I need some inspiration!

There’s a new “Scent Muse” but really it’s just a cross-promotional thing – they have nothing to say about the scent on the card. The Scent Muses do seem to select the scent but I wish they would make it less advertising and more interesting. But also Samantha Schuerman is Alena’s fave youtuber!

Your first month will include a little perfume vial case (it’s usually black, I randomly got one in red!) and velvet holder. Scentbird decants the perfume from the manufacturer’s bottle to a little glass vial that fits in the sprayer. The perfumes are 100% authentic. A card comes with the vial demonstrating its use. You just twist it to spray!

My scent for September was Gucci Guilty Black Pour Femme. Here’s the description:

(I love reading these, I’m terrible at describing perfumes). This is a sweet and unoverwhelming fall scent. It’s pretty classic – a little floral, a hint of amber, not too sultry. A good every-day wear.
