Cupcake Dazzle Subscription Box Review – June 2015

Cupcake Dazzle is a new monthly subscription baking box sending you cupcake accessories curated around a theme. You’ll get recipes, ingredients, decorations, and specialty tools to make something sweet! Boxes include an assortment of products to decorate cupcakes, make candies, fondant toppers, party decorations and more.  Decorations and tools include decorating Tips, designer cupcake liners, custom sprinkle mixes, cookie cutters, professional icing colors, and edible icing decorations.

Hello Cupcake!

I was really excited when I opened this! It was packed full of supplies and it looked like I would get to make cupcake push pops!

The information card tells you about every item that comes in the box.

And there were a lot of items! This box came with the supplies (exclusive of the actual ingredients) to make cupcake push-up pops, decorated cupcakes, cake icing or cooking icing, and were flexible enough that you can make it your own if you want!

The cards had all the directions to make the push pops, a decorating icing recipe, and cream cheese cut-out sugar cookies (love these, they turn out so great!).

12″ & 18″ Disposable Piping Bag + #22 Star tip and #825 Star Tip: The box included two different size disposable icing bags (bless you) and the tips for two different sizes, which you can use between cake layers or on top of cupcakes!

The box came with two full size bottles of the proper-colored gel food coloring (Super Red & Royal Blue), a coated star cookie cutter, and delicate red white and blue sugar stars. They arrived perfectly.

Stars & Stripes Liners + Red, White, & Blue Mix: Patriotic cupcake liners & sprinkles! They have specific recipes to follow but you can also just use your imagination and sprinkle them wherever! The blue and red pieces are stars and there’s also pearlescent dragees and jimmies.

Cake flags! – These will go in your cupcakes or pushpops or you can stick them in whatever picnic food you have. I love the little cupcake closure sticker.

These mini star sporks are so darling, and I’ve never seen these before. #pinterestready

And 6 push-up pop holders. These are really awesome and I hope that I can reuse them. You just cook small cake layers and use the push pop like a cookie cutter and layer them as directed on the card. They have extra ideas, like adding fruit between the layers.

When I opened this box, I knew it was a hit! I posted a photo on Instagram and everyone went wild, confirming it! It’s darling!  Someone who is really into baking already may have some of the tools, but could probably always have more. I love not having to go find all the decorations and recipes etc to make a themed item – and to be real, I would not make these unless a box came and told me to. It does make me feel very Pinteresty and good-Mom to complete projects like these.  I know you’re going to be super proud of me when I post my finished product on Instagram.
