BetterBox Self-Improvement Subscription Box Review

Each Quest is comprised of simple, quick, and fun BetterBox Deeds, each designed specifically to support the month’s theme. During your Gratitude Quest you may be asked to write a note of appreciation to a friend using a provided appreciation card; during your Creativity Quest, you could be invited to go wild painting a watercolor postcard with your BetterBox paint set.

When I first opened the box the first thing you see is a card explaining how the Better Box works and what’s inside. I do love what it says about Gratitude and the “Quest” that I will be on through the small deeds I will be receiving daily in my e-mail.

The next card I see is my Gratitude Quest ..Reflection Mind Map. It has empty circles and squares to write in and a section “Reflecting on Gratitude”

 Day #1 You recive your first e-mail. You have to click the link to take you to your deed on their website…My instructions were to fill out and place the Gratitude Quest Card somewhere I can see it often to inspire me.

Day #2. e-mail reads…Gratitude can be infectious—both for you and your loved ones. That’s why showing you care is so important. My deed was to send a note of appreciation to a friend or loved one with one of the hand-crafted note cards that are in the box. You receive 7 note cards and envelopes.

Day #3.  My e-mail reads, ”Simple things can have such power in our lives. If we notice them. Today’s deed will help you bask in warm appreciation for a simple pleasure we too often miss.” Today’s deed is to RELAX, admiring the sunset with the tea that they give you, CAPTURE, take a picture and last to post the image on social media.

Day #4. e-mail reads…Reflecting on the power that a special place can exert in our lives. My quest for today is to … GO, Visit a location for which you are supremely grateful. REFLECT, Spend at LEAST 30 min. in quiet appreciation of the place. GIFT, Leave the gratitude stone for a stranger to find.

Day #5. e-mail, Let’s do something that gives someone else reason to feel grateful! It reads, INSPIRE GRATITUDE IN OTHERS.. Perform any random good deed, photograph it and share on social media to INSPIRE THE WORLD.  They do give you some examples if you need them, Big Tipper, pay for someone at a toll behind you, write a review about a local business, teach someone a skill.

Day #6 e-mail reads…

Out of sight, out of mind, they say.And in our experience, there’s some truth to it.That’s why it’s so important to stay connected to the gifts and blessings in our lives—which is what today’s Deed is all about. MAKE A WALL OF GRATITUDE , grab 5 of your sticky notes from the BetterBox and WRITE on each one write something different about your home & family your grateful for. POST, place them on the frige, mirror, workspace

Day #7.  Our final Deed is one that turns gratitude back on the beautiful one who looks back at you in the mirror each morning. We hope you enjoy. Enjoy a soothing bath and relax in gratitude for you. Use the bath salts included in this month’s BetterBox.

 I have to say that I really enjoyed the BetterBox, anything to do with being Grateful for things in life is right up my alley! BUT you have to be the kind of person that will commit to doing the deeds every day of each month. If you aren’t then you may be disappointed in what comes in the box for $29 a month. You really are paying for the daily deeds and interaction that goes along with the items in the box.

One of the statements on their website is, “We don’t get better by reading. We get better by DOING”. I believe this is a very true statement. BetterBox will be shipping their first boxes on July 1!
