As promised, my January Stitch Fix is already here. This was a pretty good fix, but I felt that many of the items were repetitive of one another, so I kept only two this month. HOWEVER, Stitch Fix did a great job in trying to supply me with warm items! It’s very cold here and my office isn’t warm, so my requirements are warm clothes and lots of them! To compensate for only keeping 2 items I switched my subscription to get a fix every 2-3 weeks. 🙂 There aren’t any coupons for Stitch Fix but if you hit the jackpot and keep everything, you save 25% on your whole fix (read below for details).
Along with the styling card up top,
Here’s how Stitch Fix works: fill out your style profile! This includes style, budget, what you’re looking for, and you can get as detailed as you want with the notes to your stylist. It really really does help to provide notes to what you’re seeking, and a Pinterest board if you have one! You will be charged a $20 styling fee and shipped five items to try on at home. If you keep anything your styling fee will be applied to your order, but if you don’t, you will pay the $20 fee. This is so worth it. If you keep everything you get a 25% discount, so it pays off to be specific. You will check out and get charged through your Stitch Fix account.
RD Style Analisa Twisted Seam Mixed Knit Sweater ($68) I didn’t love the style on this one. It was a good choice, just not for me. Returned!
Pixley Jacy Hooded Knit Jacket ($68) This is wonderful! It’s a terry fleece wrap jacket with great lapels and a hood. Kept, obviously!
TCEC Donelle V-Neck Button-Up Cardigan ($58) I waffled on this one but ultimately just didn’t like the silhouette on it. I prefer a big chunky cardi.
I really liked the pocket detail though. I felt this nice edge would keep the pocket from looking sloppy.
41Hawthorn Georgia Crew Neck Raglan Sweater ($68) I’m just not a fan of colorblock raglan. I don’t think it’s flattering on my body type (round).
Loveappella Evie Draw String Funnel Neck Sweatshirt ($64) This one is a nice dark cornflower blue and I liked the space dyed knit effect as well as the way it looked. I’m the hugest fan of funnel necks so I kept it! Plus I thought the card gave some nice styling ideas to dress this one up.
As I said, I did set my subscription to every 2 or 3 weeks (basically because I’m a total addict). I asked to keep the nice warm clothing but for more color – I thought this fix was super monochrome. Which actually matches what I wear but I do sometimes try for color!

What color is the knit jacket? Hard to tell.
it’s charcoal! i didn’t have my lights downstairs 🙁
I’ve done stitch fix for five months and it’s starting to get very repetitive. I’ve literally sent back the same pair of black pants twice and they’ve sent me countless black blouses. The only colors/prints I’ve asked not to receive is burgendy and floral. You guessed it: I’ve received a burgendy sweater and a floral top. I’ve asked to keep my arms covered and each month they send me some sort of tank top. Plus it’s winter! Ha. I don’t know why I keep doing it….
is it the same stylist? have you reviewed your profile? have you left any sort of specific feedback about it? please let me know! i am gathering information on getting your best fix possible.
if you have done all those things email SF customer service
Love the knit jacket!
