We’d liken a well-brewed cup to sprinting through a freshly-mowed lawn on a beautiful summer’s day, a ripe peach in one hand, a hot chocolate (improbably) clutched in the other, a pocket of your grass-stained jeans lined with honey sticks.
Husband’s Notes: Blue Bottle’s oft-whimsical tasting notes are spot-on in their description of this medium-roasted Guatemalan. It features strong tannic head notes, and a chocolaty body that quickly develops into a juicy, sweet, peachy treat. The woody and chocolaty notes linger through the finish. A very pleasant and interesting cup.
