July’s box contains five items.
A handy little leaflet shares information on each of the products. I always appreciate when boxes include this extra info.
The Konjac Sponge Company Mini Sponge (RRP £6.99) is a cleansing and exfoliating facial sponge made from pure vegetable fibre with French green clay. The Limited Edition mini sponge range features colourful rainforest creatures, such as the bold little frog I received. The pore refining sponge can be used alone or with cleaners and is usable for up to three months.

The sponge is actually very soft once hydrated, meaning it is good on even the most sensitive skin areas like around the eyes. This is a really interesting product, much gentler on the skin than I had expected, and yielding nice results of softened and refreshed skin.
Young & Pure Soothing Facial Mask With Passion Flower Oil And Green Tea (RRP £5.99) is a hydrating mask free from sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance, silicons and other undesirables. I liked this mask, it didn’t have an overpowering scent and a nice smooth, thick consistency. After a five minute treatment, it left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth.
Beauty Without Cruelty Everyday Range Lip Gloss (RRP £4.95) in Gold Sunset is part of a range of non-sticky lip gloss. This has a soft brush applicator which I struggled to figure out how to use – I accidentally pushed way too much gloss out on the first use and wasted a lot of product! I like the brush applicator, once I figured out how to use it properly, but the shade is a bit too shiny for me.
White Rabbit Skincare Chocolate Orange Lip Balm (RRP £4) is totally luscious. Containing shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, castor oil, olive wax and sweet orange oil, it is a nourishing balm which left my lips feeling soft and hydrated. The chocolate orange scent is also very tempting.
Maggie Anne Nail Varnish (RRP £10.50) is a toxin free gel effect nail polish. I received the white polish in my box, which is one of 6 shades. I was happy with this polish; it has a nice shine and gel-like finish making for a very professional looking manicure.
Due to a series of mix-ups with my local post office, I had to wait awhile to finally receive my VOBEAUTY box, but luckily it was worth the wait. The box offers a nice mix of products, all at a reasonable price point and all usable on a regular basis as part of a no-frills beauty routine. I would recommend this box to conscientious individuals who want an easy means of finding new clean beauty products.
