The Cozy Life Candle Studio Staycation Candle ($40) I received Staycation for my March box, and I love the listed scent notes: oranges and lemons, eucalyptus, green grass, and cedar. The candle is made with soy wax and the 16 ounce size should burn for around 80 hours. Although the fragrance smells wonderful when cold or just after extinguishing the flame, I was unable to detect and fragrance while it was burning unless I got super close to the flame. If you prefer your candles more for ambience than scent then I would suggest this candle brand for you.
Set of 2 Spring Swedish Dish Cloths ($10) I have several Swedish dish cloths thanks to subscription boxes! These almost feel like cardboard when dry but when dampened they make for a sturdy cloth to wash dishes or wipe down counters. I wash them with my other towels and they go into the dryer and they still do the job.
It took me a little longer to get my review in this month but I wanted to make sure I had my sense of smell back before rating my candle! Staycation from The Cozy Life and Vellabox had a wonderful list of cozy scent notes such as orange, lemon, and cedar but I was sadly unable to detect the scent while burning but then again, it still made me happy to watch the flame dance around every time I passed by. I also liked the bonus item, Swedish dishcloths are not only pretty to look at they are also surprisingly strong and long-lasting, even after going through the regular laundry cycle. Vellabox did a great job of providing a cozy home-themed box with all three of the featured scents along with the bonus item and yes, even down to the pretty little picture and quote on the inside lid of the shipping box. Spring is here and the candle scent was perfect for the season!
