I’m Baaack!

Purr-Packs is a monthly cat subscription that is run by a team of dedicated kitty owners that specializes in finding new and innovative products for your cats. They realize that one size does not fit every cat family and offer four different plans with customization available. The Slim Pack contains 4-5 toys. The Teaser Pack contains 5-7 items and includes toys, treats, and surprises. The Fun and Love Pack contains 7-9 items and includes toys, treats, and surprises. The pack can be customized with flavors, colors and more. The Multi-Cat Mega-Pack includes at least nine items that are toys, treats, and surprised. It also can be customized by flavors, colors and more. All treats are made in the USA and each size pack is gift ready. Purr-Packs donates at least 10% of all retail subscription profits to local and national rescue and/or adoption programs.

I love treats!

You’ll be able to set up your treat preference when you check out. Personalize the box by listing your cats’ names on the box along with filling out the flavor profile and coat profile.

Midna says, “No Peeking!”

FYI –  Purr-Packs has made improvements to their website. You can now select how often you want your box shipped. Shipping charges are $4.95 to the United States. There are additional shipping charges to the UK and Canada. A fourth selection has been added for kitties that want toys only. The change that I find to be the most innovative is that you can now select your shipping date. Go to your account, click ship now, and that date will be your new shipping date going forward.

This month the contents of the box are listed online. The theme is Have a Meowgnificent New Year!
Purr Packs Medium Size Box Fun and Love Edition

Here are the items for the medium-sized Fun and Love edition. The cats were ready to play.

Jackson Galaxy Mixed Twisted Kicker

All the kitties went wild over the Jackson Galaxy Mixed Twisted Kicker ($6.98). It’s full of USA organic catnip and stuffing. It kept them entertained for hours.

Cat Dancer Toy

I personally hate the Cat Dancer Toy ($2.49) which has a wire that can hit kids or kitties. The cats weren’t interested in the toy.

Multipet Catnip Garden and JW Mouse with Rope Toy

My eight-year-old is going to make catnip pillows with the MultiPet Catnip (.5 oz, $2.99).  The kitties were unsure of the JW Cataction Mouse Bell Toy ($8.12). It is made of TPR Rubber and has a bell in it. My small dog, Bella, showed interest in the toy.

Categories Catty Coil and Zanies Mouse

The kitties loved playing tug of war with the Categories Catty Coil ($5.99).  They also enjoyed trying to pull the tail off the Zanies Mouse ($0.83).

Smart n’ Tasty Feline Dental Treats

All the kitties loved the Smart n’ Tasty Feline Dental Treats (3 oz, $3.99). They don’t realize they are cleaning their teeth! The treats are free of soy, dairy, gluten, and grain.

The Honest Kitchen Wonders

The dogs are wondering why the cats received such a wondrous treat. The Honest Kitchen Wonders Pollock Fish Skin Treats for Cats & Dogs (2 oz, $8.99.) The 100% human-grade dehydrated Atlantic Pollock Skin is from wild-caught Pollock that is ranked as a ‘Good Alternative’ bu the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. It is a product of Iceland and packaged in the USA.  Both the cats and dogs ate the treats with great gusto.

Scratching Pad

Midna is covered with catnip from the Purr-Packs Box. She wanted first dibs on the scratching pad (appx $10.00) which comes with a packet of catnip that can be sprinkled on the pad.

Time for cat pictures! The kitties prefer to be photographed on an old comforter in natural light.

Sylvester

Sylvester: Do I pose or play with the Cat Dancer Toy?

Little Lamb

Little Lamb: It’s great to be back. I can roll around on the cat scratcher and play with the cat spring toy until I fall off the cat scratcher pad.

Sylvester: Maybe if I pose Little Lamb won’t steal my toys.

Little Lamb: It’s a kicker! I’m high on the catnip that I knocked out of the cat scratcher pad.

Take a look at those clean teeth!

Little Lamb: Why are you taking away my toy? I am too cute.

Sylvester: It’s fun to play tug of war with mommy. I might even swipe her the next time she pulls on my toy.

Sylvester: Time to relax. Reviewing is hard work.

Little Lamb: Yes, I dumped catnip all over the comforter. Can I eat my treat?

Sylvester: More tug of war! This is as lively as I get.

Garfield: It’s my favorite type of mouse. Catnip mouse!

Sylvester: I caught the Cat Dancer toy. Now what?

Little Lamb: I am going to pull the tail off the mouse as soon as mom turns away. I love being the problem kitty with muddy fur.

The cats adored their January Purr-Packs. It amused them for hours as they played in the review and afterward. The medium-size box provided enough toys and treats for all the kitties. Even the dogs got into the action this month by playing with the one mouse and eating pollock skin treats.   The medium size box had an approximate value of $50.00 which is excellent for a $29.99 cat box. My cats wish your cats a Meowgnificent New Year!
