Getting a good night’s sleep is essential for your health and well-being. One way to ensure a restful night is by having a comfortable and clean bed. Naturepedic is known for their organic and non-toxic sleep solutions, promising a cozy, healthy sleep environment. I had the opportunity to try out the Naturepedic EOS Organic Mattress, and in this review, I’ll share my firsthand experience with you. If you’re wondering about the practical details and whether it delivers on its promises, join me as I recount my full experience.

Setting up the mattress encasement on my bed frame turned out to be quite the challenge. The encasement has an organic cotton top and side panels with a 3-inch border, which needed to fit snugly around the frame. This part alone took quite a bit of time and effort to get right, as the encasement is designed to hold the other components securely in place.
Next came the bottom layer, which provides essential support. Unpacking the latex or coil layer and fitting it into the encasement was tricky because the coils needed to be perfectly aligned with the bottom structure of the encasement. Using my forearms to squeeze the coils into place took considerable effort, and it was challenging to ensure they fit just right without any gaps or misalignments.
The top layer, which adds comfort to the mattress, was the next step. Unpacking and carefully placing this layer over the bottom coils or latex layer required a lot of adjusting and readjusting, not to mention lifting the heavy materials multiple times to get everything in the correct position.
Finally, the encasement has small zipper pulls that are tricky to handle. Aligning the top panel and zipping it slowly while making sure everything stayed in place was especially frustrating because the zipper kept getting stuck. Aligning the two sides of the encasement without bunching the material took several attempts.
By the time I completed the setup, I found myself thoroughly fatigued but satisfied with the final result—a well-crafted mattress ready for a good night’s sleep.
The mattress’s use of organic cotton and wool creates a comforting, natural sleep environment. The organic cotton fabric and fill offer a soft, conforming feel that’s a healthier alternative to synthetic materials, while the organic wool batting wicks away moisture and regulates temperature, enhancing overall comfort.

I’ve found the organic latex layer remarkably supportive, relieving pressure points without sacrificing comfort. Beneath, the glue-less encased coils provide just the right amount of bounce and excellent breathability, ensuring a cool and refreshing sleep. Together, these features not only promote a healthier sleep environment but also contribute to a fresh, modern design that blends sustainability with comfort seamlessly.

To wrap it up, the Naturepedic mattress really hits the mark with its natural, organic materials that not only feel great but also do good for the environment. From the super soft organic cotton to the coolness-enhancing wool, each part of this mattress keeps me comfy and helps me sleep easier. The organic latex and springy coils provide solid support and keep things breezy, which is perfect for a good night’s sleep. Putting it all together was a bit of a workout, but now that it’s done, I can say it’s worth it for anyone who wants a healthier, more eco-friendly bed.
