My Be Better Box is a bi-monthly subscription box for “busy go-getters who appreciate guided self improvement, are excited about new wellness products, and love to give back.” You will receive two months worth of challenges and some products to help you complete some of the tasks. Complete the tasks and money is donated to a charity. My Be Better Box is $44.50 every two months.

  • Give a gift that will have meaning and impact all year long.
  • 2 months of printed wellness challenges in a keepsake envelope
  • 6 wellness products to excite and assist you in completing the challenges
  • An accountability check-off chart. If you complete all the challenges, than a bonus item is in your next box
  • A promised donation made to the charity, Every Mother Counts, for each completed challenge.

There was a card that talked about how My Be Better Box came about. A donation is made to Every Mother Counts for every completed challenge.

I received a tracker for the months of May/June. Keep it handy to mark off the challenges.

The items were wrapped in tissue paper and tucked into shredded paper squiggles. The envelope included the challenge cards.

There were 8 cards/challenges for this shipment.

Each card has a weekly challenge.

Each card features a quote.

The back of each card has the challenge and if there is a corresponding product in the box, brief instructions on how to use it.

Everything in the box!

Wooden Easel with 10 Artifact Uprising Prints (71¢ and $12) go along with Week 21’s assignment – Print Photos.

The card is a sample of what the prints will look and feel like – they are printed on cardstock rather than glossy paper.

There was a code on the back that says I can get 10 everyday prints, which starts at around $8. A set of 10 prints with a small white border and sized 5″ x 5″ (like the card) is around $12. Shipping isn’t included, you will have to pay extra.

It also came with an easel, which holds the print. You can buy a set of 12 for $7.33 on Amazon.

Happy Mother’s Day Card ($4?) I’m not sure who made this card (it isn’t listed on the back) but I gave it a value based on similar cards that I receive in other subscription boxes.

It goes with Week 19’s challenge, Walk For A Cause. I don’t think it is necessarily meant for your own mother but maybe for a mother-figure or someone who means a lot to you.

Arie and Co. Friendship Bracelets  ($6) go along with Week 25’s challenge, Reach Out To Old Friends. The idea is that you tie it around your wrist and when it breaks and falls off, your wish will come true. There are two bracelets so you can share one with a friend. The silver-colored hearts are on nylon thread.

Smoothie Bombs ($12.95) The challenge for Week 24 is Healthy Smoothies and this product is meant to be added to your usual recipe.

Oops, this product has 80 calories, and that’s not even counting the smoothie ingredients! Dates, coconut sugar, spirulina, and coconut oil are some of the ingredients in this bomb.

Place one bomb, a piece of fruit, and about 8 ounces of liquid in a blender and mix until smooth.

There are 5 bombs in the container and the packaging is compostable.

I bet my smoothie will be GREEN! The ingredients are meant to be cleansing and may help boost the immune system. I crumbled it into my blender and added yogurt, a probiotic juice, ice, and frozen mixed berries and gave it a whirl. I was surprised that my drink didn’t turn bright green, but I think it’s because of the juice and fruit I used. I did try a taste of the bomb before I placed it in the blender and it smelled like sweet hay and tasted grassy. I didn’t think that my smoothie tasted all that different really, but I am happy to know I had an extra boost of a few nutrients.

Basil Grow Kit ($5.80) In Week 20, we are urged to Plant Herbs. I have gardened in the past and there is nothing better than going into your garden and cutting fresh herbs to flavor a meal.

This little kit has everything you need to start a little pot of basil indoors.

Instructions were included, along with a paper leaf that is embedded with basil seeds. The kit is made with 100% biodegradable materials.

Watercolor/Calligraphy Brush Pens ($3?) No brand was listed on these pens but you can do a search on Amazon. They are to be used for the Week 23 challenge, Be Creative.

I received two brush pens with ink, and one empty brush pen that can be filled with water.

Draw with the two colored pens, then go over them with the water brush to get a watercolor look.

My box had a value of around $44.46, which is right around the price of the box. Curation also goes into this box, along with the donation made to Every Mother Counts for those who keep track of their challenges. The challenges are easy to complete and are just a bit random, which keeps me on my toes because I’m never sure what I will find in this box!
