Mine Chest is the one and only monthly subscription box for all the Minecraft fans out there. It is officially licensed by Mojang, and costs $29.99 per month + shipping ($7 US, $15 Canada, $20 everywhere else).
You’ll get a box full of Minecraft inspired goodies, as well as a unique project and official merchandise. Boxes come with a t-shirt (with a full range of youth and adult sizes available) and are packed in a collectible and reusable box.

I should mention that my kids are Minecraft fiends. They love crafting!
The outside looks like a block and turns inside out!
The theme for August is Survive The Night! FYI – Minechest adjusted its ship date to avoid confusion. There was no July box but nobody missed a box.
Minecraft Survive the Night Postcard: These are fun and really well done, inviting subscribers into the story.
Everything in the August Mine Chest box!
DIY Crafting Recipe Zombie Armor: Every box includes a DIY crafting recipe to make at home. Does anyone make these?
This one is pretty involved and calls for a hobby knife. I think we will skip it. While we have done one I think, the kids aren’t too into it (Although they were pumped about this one). I think Minechest needs to rethink this feature.
Mine Chest Exclusive Pin: This is a highly covetable enamel pin! My kids were super excited about this torch!
Mine Chest Exclusive Sticker: It’s a clock. Please don’t ask me how that’s supposed to be a clock, I really don’t know.
Mine Chest Exclusive T-Shirt: I loved the shirt this month and the kids did too – softer fabric, and purple!! Steve’s surviving the night while being shot at by 2 skeletons on top of a Newbie something or other (I am translating squeals of delight after the fact here…).
Minecraft Baby Zombie Plushie: My kids went wild over this and played baby zombie all night!
Minecraft Stamp & Ink Pad: This is another item that is getting a bit repetitive – do we need a stamp block for every theme?
The stamp pad has an ink sack on the cover – a nice innovation.

And the stamp makes a sword – to help survive the night of course!
I liked the improved shirt and the pin and Plushie! These were real hits with us. However as I mentioned I don’t think the stamp and DIY crafting add a lot of value for longer term subscribers. Not unsubscribing any time soon – my Minecrafters are nutty about this box!
