Candy Adriatico is a subscription box sending handpicked treats from the Adriatic nations: Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia! You can pick any combination of countries to customize your box but I don’t see why you’d want to leave any out! I love subscription boxes like this that include treats I wouldn’t find anywhere else!

I thought it would be helpful to include a map if you’re unfamiliar with the region. FYI, Hazelnuts grow all over the Adriatic region (and down into Turkey), so you’ll often see them included in the treats in this subscription.
The March Box is “Think Spring” and it featured 6 different treats.
Every box includes a handwritten postcard from Slovenia.
YUM!
Everything in the March Candy Adriatico Box!
Kinder Bueno Mini (Italia) SO Bueno. These are hard to describe – there’s a light hazelnut filling inside that’s not airy and not squishy, it’s just… like eating hazelnut made out of fluff but it’s not sticky. SO good!
Životinjsko Carstvo (Croatia) Um worm sticker? So Croatian!! This is like a kids’ thin chocolate bar and it comes with a collectible sticker. Mine just happened to be a worm. My kids were pumped!
BonKo Fruit Toffee + Vitamin C (Croatia) In strawberry, pineapple, orange, and green apple flavors, these are harder and stickier than Starburst (to which I compare all fruit sticky/chewy candies). These were fun and yummy.
Gorenjka Jaffa Snack Bar (Slovenia) This was a cake sort of filling with orange jelly and coated in an excellent chocolate outer coating. European chocolate – even the coatings – is just so much better than American chocolate. By miles. I loved the orange & chocolate combo!
Ciocorí Motta (Italia) Puffed rice in milk chocolate, I think this is also for the kids market given the bizarre creature on the front of the bar, but it was super yummy!
Svileni Lešnik Silk Hazelnuts (Slovenia) These are hard candies with a real hazelnut filling inside. They’re very good and I loved the true hazelnut flavor.
Bauli Vanilla Custard Croissant (Italia) Whoops, 7 treats! This one wasn’t on the info card. It tasted like Portuguese bread and had a vanilla custard filling dotted throughout the inside. It’s like the Italian version of the convenience store snack pie, but basically a million times better.

I loved this box! Everything was so delicious and it’s ridiculously hard to resist eating everything at once, but of course you can control yourself and just nibble a little at a time (it’s really hard, I have to give it to my husband or I’d eat it ALL!).
