Michel Germain Orange Blossom Garden & French Vanilla Parfum ($305 for 100ml) I reached for this perfume first simply because I love the scent of orange blossoms! We had orange trees in the backyard when I was growing up so it is a perennial favorite of mine. Some of the other notes in this blend are violet leaf, jasmine (another scent that is abundant in Southern California), and musk. This is a warm floral, perfect for spring and summer, and can be layered with any of the other scents from this collection!
Michel Germain French Pear & Queen’s Lilac Parfum ($305 for 100ml) I used to love fruity scents but grew out of them, however, when they have a touch of musk, then they’re my jam! The scent notes here include sweet pear and black currant, a trio of florals (lilac, geranium, and rose), and a touch of musk and modern amber. It’s a romantic combo perfect for work or date night, and especially spring and summer. I picked up a hint of something like honey, and it is a bit powdery too, which keeps it in clean territory, nothing dirty here folks. Very nice, a touch sweet and extremely feminine.
Michel Germain Raspberry Royale & French Black Pepper Parfum ($305 for 100ml) I found this perfume to be yet another warm floral, but there’s a bit of bite to it thanks to the black pepper note. Some of the listed notes are fruity sweet raspberries, powdery floral orris root, and warm musk, which keeps it from smelling gourmand or teenager-ish, it’s much more sensual. Out of the three scents I received this month, I felt like this one lasted the longest on my body.
I enjoyed trying my new fragrances from Michel Germain, thanks to LUXSB! While any fragrance can be worn by any gender, all three of this month’s scent were what I would consider feminine. They were sweet, floral, warm, and all could be worn to work or out for a romantic evening on the town. I especially liked Orange Blossom Garden and French Vanilla, but I’m a sucker for anything with orange blossom in the mix. Each of these scents are perfect for spring weather and will carry into summer – of course you can wear any fragrance at any time of the year, but these are floral forward. All of these fragrances are pricey for a full bottle, $305 each, but LUXSB makes it easy and economical to try something new without shelling out a lot of money for something you may later regret buying, but if you do fall in love with a scent, then you can save on a purchase through LUXSB, since they offer subscribers a discount on full-sized purchases!
