There’s a promo card for the advent calendar!

We’ll be reviewing the lookfantastic advent calendar sometime soon – stay tuned!

There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box as well – this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features.

Some great items in this month’s box – I love how everything is laid out clearly.

Everything always shifts around during transit with this box, and usually ends up covered in paper dust – easily wiped off, but still amusing.

Mio Liquid Yoga Restorative Bath Soak ($10.60) Loaded with mineral salts, herbs, and essential oils, this smells AMAZING. I love taking baths, and have been suffering from a brutal fall cold lately, so I am excited to indulge in something relaxing like this.

Laura Geller Pout Perfection Lip Liner ($18) I wear a lot of red lipstick, so I have about 50 different red lipliners. I’m excited to try this Laura Geller formula, even if the color itself isn’t anything new for me personally.

OSKIA London Renaissance Mask ($14.50) Like the bath soak, this also smells awesome – rose and fruit and soothing chamomile. It’s a two-phase mask and takes about 20 minutes, but it’s truly perfect for a night of pampering!

Polaar Lip Balm ($11) Dry lips are my arch nemesis. I love fall and winter, but hate what they do to my skin. This lip balm is emollient and rich, and also has a nice soft flavor. My chapped lips felt instantly soothed and protected.

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel ($10.60) I’m new to using chemical exfoliants, but this has gotten good reviews on Sephora and is said to be gentle and mild, so I think my somewhat sensitive skin should be okay.

Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture Intense Oil Creme Pre-Shampoo Treatment ($6) I don’t really understand the point of pre-shampoo treatments, to be perfectly honest. Since you’re following it with the shampoo to basically rinse everything away… it feels like an unnecessary step. Still, I’m game to give this a try, as it promises deep hydration for dry hair.

We were also sent October’s issue of Elle UK – the last couple of boxes were missing the mini magazine, so I’m excited to get it again.

img_5207

It’s a thick, glossy magazine but it’s a small pocket size that would fit easily into a purse.

This month’s box had a value of just over $80 USD, which is awesome. I LOVE the pampering theme, and am looking forward to having a nice indulgent spa night this weekend. I’ve been feeling under the weather for almost two weeks now, and lookfantastic put together a box of splurge-worthy products that will definitely help me feel a lot more healthy and relaxed!
